The unit was beautifully appointed and equipped with all the amenities that make for a wonderful and exciting stay. We live 30 minutes away, but used to live down a bit on Scenic Gulf Drive. Just wanted to visit the area.
Unfortunately, I understand, we were the first visitors to stay at this unit since its complete remodel. It was ill-prepared for visitors. There were no instructions for how to watch the TVs. We had to get the on-site VACASA representative to show us the nuances. Like you must start the TV with the TV remote first and then use the cable company remote to navigate the programming. Then, to do both, you have to know to point the remote directly at the small box on the wall just below the TV. The coffee maker appears to be very nice, but instructions for its use need to be posted, or placed in a nearby drawer. We could not figure it out. All your visitors will not be savvy to modern conveniences, but may be seniors like us that live fairly uncomplicated lives.
In the shower, there is a suction cup, grab handle. This type grab bar is not compliant with the American Disability Act. The packaging for the grab bar should have included that warning. I only mention that to alert you to possible liability should one of your visitors think they can grab it should they experience a fall in the shower. Similarly, the sliding glass door sill out to the balcony, is unusually high. We tripped on it a bit the first time out. Maybe a “Watch your Step” sticker on the doors.
Also, we requested early check-in but were denied. Not sure why. On arrival, it smelled a bit musty as though no one had stayed there recently.

It is in the perfect location and exceptionally clean with very good appointments.

Roomy enough for 2 people. Plenty of bath towels.. having 2 bathrooms & washer & dryer was great. The corner unit let in alot of light. The balcony was great for the sunrises & sunsets.
An extra blanket, extra dishtowels and a rug by the front door would have been nice. Also the king bed mattress needs to be replaced - there seems to be a gulley in the middle.

The unit was old and outdated. The unit had broken tile, furniture was rough and all around not nice.

Location is excellent
Although "clean", the couches had stains. The rug maybe clean but definitely old/discolored. Overall room seemed dated. Constant musty smell. The space available for all occupants amd the location made up for it.

The location on the beach was wonderful and so convenient. The view from the balcony was amazing. This location was so close to restaurants and shopping. We did get quick service from maintenance to replace a few light bulbs and to replace a moldy shower curtain.
The unit is old and worn out. It was nice that they tried to update some things like the countertops, toilets and door knobs. But other things were old and rusty like the door hinges. The furniture is old and the couch had unusual stains on it.

We were not provided breakfast. The beach was beautiful, but a little more crowded than we expected. We did not realize there were so many homes across the street.
The bed in the room could have been a little more comfortable. We were told that Vacasa staff would be in office but never saw anyone there. We were able to get a response via email. Someone from Vacasa delivered us a new coffee pot which was really great.

no staff on property except for the cleaning staff that could answer questions about the property. Not enough towels for one day per person.

Roaches, roaches, roaches everywhere, dirty floors, rooted wood in the 1st floor bathroom, nasty carpet upstairs, broken floor vent upstairs that is a safety hazard, kitchen was not stocked as it should have been (only 3 forks, 3 spoons, pots and pans were disgusting, they were rusty and dirty, no baking wear such as a 9X13 pan) I ended up going and buying cheap silverware, a griddle, and disposable pans.

Sink on first floor would not drain. No linens for sofa bed. Host had to bring them around 11 pm. Ceiling fan upstairs did not work. Was told 4 different times that someone would bring us a box fan. We never got one. Heat does rise and it would have at least helped some.

Our room was beautiful and clean. I loved the ocean front corner we had. All employees were super nice. We loved the pools and hot tub. The gift shop was not overpriced. Everything worked in the room.
Definitely should have been a towel service. We are paying a lot of money to stay and we only get the towels we start out with and have to pay to wash them ourselves? No thanks. Couldn’t take our own umbrellas to the beach because of “safety reasons” but all the hotels proceeded to monopolize the beach with their own umbrellas for profit and we couldn’t even use our canopy close to the water.

The property is nasty. the rooms are very duty. the Restrooms are very dury very old smells so bad. I pay 500 dollars a night not good. don’t waste your money in this property. 🤮🤮😡😡.

Right off the beach and the pool was a nice second option.
The shower pressure sucked in room.

The beachfront view was amazing. The condo had everything we needed for our stay, and it was the perfect size.
It needed just a little bit more deep cleansing in between families, it was a bit dusty. The sofa bed was worn out.
