The Nest was a big, cozy house for all of us to spread out, be comfortable yet come together at the long dining room table. We put several extra leaves in it! We could walk to Kitchen Kettle Village and easily drive to Millers Smorgasbord and Sight and Sound Theater. We were blessed with beautiful weather all weekend too!

Our group spent one night to attend the Sight & Sound show and chose The Nest to have our down time. It was nicely appointed and was charming with its bird/nest theme throughout. It was spacious allowing us to relax in different rooms (and outside) and all together without feeling cramped. The location allowed easy access to some nearby shops (possibly walking distance if you are interested in a stroll!)

We Loved The Country Nest! It couldn’t have been more centrally located for a visit to Amish Country. The house is nicely appointed and having bedrooms on the first floor made the stay easier for those who can’t do stairs. We arrived on a Sunday and lucked out with a gorgeous day. We all sat on the front porch to visit and we’re amazed and delighted seeing so many buggies driving by in all 4 directions.You’ll want to take pictures but read up on proper etiquette so as not to be an offensive tourist. Shops and restaurants were only 5 minutes away and other attractions were close too. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable, beautiful long table in the kitchen and a lovely living room. We would highly recommend The Nest for anyone visiting the area. We even hit up the Outlet stores which were only 15 min. away. Many local restaurants were closed on Monday but again there were several restaurants on the road going to the outlet stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay at The Nest

We love staying at this property. It is close to everywhere and there is so much room. We loved taking advantage of cooking on the grill and gathering around the large kitchen space. Thank you for another beautiful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Country Nest. It was in a great location and the house was very nice, clean and met all our needs. Went to Sights and Sounds on Friday afternoon to see the production Moses and then Saturday to Dutch Wonderland (which the granddaughters loved). Enjoyed Friday night around the fire pit. Mornings on porch with cup of coffee watching the Amish buggies go by. The accommodations were everything as stated in the description. We will definately stay at Country Nest again when we come back to Lancaster.

Owner is very responsive and kind. Home is as described with a lot of special touches. Clean, well stocked. Welcome gifts. Fire pit is great. Family, ages 19-83 from across the US enjoyed our stay! Location is convenient to walk to many restaurants and Kitchen Kettle village that has over 30 shops!! Lots to do in the area. Amish dinner through owner is a must! Eggs from eggs were nice touch. Great experience. Would stay again!!

This house had everything we needed and very nice for 8 people to have plenty of space. I loved that we could all eat together in the dining room and sit together in the main living room. The house was very clean when we arrived and had a comfortable environment. I would stay here again if I came back to the area.

We all loved this house, perfect for my family and extended family. Location was very convenient to all the best places in Lancaster. House was perfect inside and out with a nice fire pit to sit around in the evening. The inside of the house was very clean, and had plenty of beds. Also loved having 3 bathrooms. The layout is nice with bedrooms and bathrooms both on the 1st and 2nd floor. Owner responded to all my questions before our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful location for our extended family to get together for a mini vacation. The home was clean, decorated in a cute style, and had everything we needed. I certainly recommend.

House was great. Excellent location. My parents enjoyed sitting on porch watching horse and buggies going past. Had a meal with a local family and it was excellent. Parents and us making plans for another stay next year. We will definitely stay here again.

The house was spacious, clean, and had adorable decor and lots of nice little added comforts, like a coffee nook, snack gift basket, flatscreen TV in the bedroom, and a beautiful walk-in shower with a stone bench.

This home has tons of sleeping options and three full baths. Our entire family stayed here for a local wedding. In addition to my husband and me, my parents stayed with us and our 5 adult children. We cooked a main meal and breakfast and there was plenty of room for cooking and a huge kitchen table which seated all of us. We highly recommend this clean, comfortable rental.

We do so loved our stay at the “Nest”. Perfect location to everything in Amish country. Wonderful front porch sitting watching traffic and buggies abound. House has a great yard, fantastic layout and ample parking. It was clean, well supplied, and had plenty of everything. We will definitely book here again if we come back. The only fyi I would give other renters is if you’re a light sleeper bring a noise machine. The house is on a busy road and traffic can be noisy. Didn’t bother us but just FYI.

This “ nest” was perfect for our large group (8-10) of 75 year old nurses! Comfortable throughout. Plenty of room and easy access to attractions and the beautiful countryside. Juana was an excellent communicator!

We walked into town, did some shopping, cooked dinners, visited Pa RR Museum, relaxed and spent time with good friends. Comfy home and great location! We’ll be back.

What a sweet gorgeous cottage nestled in the heart of Lancaster County. Every room was so comfy and it felt like home. The house was very clean and well stocked with all of the necessities. We were so pleased with our stay and wish we could've stayed longer! We will be back!

Great location to town. House is on a corner lot of a busier road. Many rooms and beds, liked having 3 bathrooms.

We spent 3 days over the Christmas holiday at the Country Nest. Our family ranges from 2 to 82 years old. We had 2 dogs with us as well. The dining table has lots of leaves to expand to fit any size gathering. We shared lots of meals and silly card games around the table. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The host decorated the house with 3 Christmas trees and a lovely tablescape. It was perfect. The backyard has a play structure and a wonderful firepit. The backyard is protected by a tall arbor vitae hedge making it feel private. We look forward to staying at the Nest again in the future.

Wow, the home is so beautiful, so many little welcoming details like fresh towel and bath supplies in each bedroom, a large basket of yummy local goodies, all the supplies needed to make a delicious cup of coffee, and lovely decor in every room. Thank you for offering the perfect spot for us to spend a wonderful time together.

Wonderful property. We had stayed here a few years back and love how the house has been upgraded. The basket of snacks, coffee and tea station, and cleaning supplies are a great touch. Looking forward to a return visit.

There were 8 of us and we were not disappointed. Lots of space. Great location. Clean and everything we expected. We would definitely return to this location.

While the location of this house is great, we had the misfortune of being misled in believing there are 2.5 bathrooms. The third bathroom is sort of an outhouse in the mudroom area. It is NOT clean. The shower is filthy. It is not heated. It is kind of disconnected from the rest of the house. You have to go through the kitchen and dining to get there but regardless of that, it's not comfortable or convenient. Going out there was a nightmare so our large family ended up being stuck with 2 bathrooms which made things intense. There was no paper towel provided for us other than the one half used roll. There was no scrub provided for us to clean dishes. The iron had water left in it and the water spilled all over our clothes. No face or hand towels provided except for 2 make up removing towels. Mostly all drawers were not working well. (bedroom and kitchen) Kitchen is extremely outdated and run down. Pictures look better than reality. The owner told us that they needed more time to clean so check in might be later which was fine by us since we were running late. The house was not at the cleaning standard that I would have expected. There were flies in the house. We were rushing to check out at 11 (delayed because of the bathroom situation, no paper towel - difficult cleanups- no scrub for dishes) and the owner's sister showed up at the house at 11 exactly. While they let us finish getting ready to leave, it was very irritating that they would show up at 11 while our check in was delayed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Nest” our host was great ! The house was clean , stocked, & decorated beautifully , right in the heart of intercourse it was spacious and we all will hope to book again to stay here on another visit!!!
