That I had to pay 2€ for the coffee capsule in the room

Excellent location of the residence. Th residence is modern, very comfortable and well equipped. The nearby beach is very nice and well organized. Villa Azur completes in a nicely way the entire picture. The staff is very friendly and respectful.

Some improvement in English skills would make communication easier.

The apartment itself is very beautiful, modern, the beach club next door is a bonus. It’s about a 10 mins drive to yalikavak marina. Way too far to walk, need to drive. Balcony was large. If I ever came Bodrum again I’d 100% book this place.

Not very helpful in arranging excursions, when arriving there was no one to let me in. I was just sitting there at the lobby hoping someone would come. Eventually, security let us in, technically we never actually checked in properly. Got stuck in the lift, very scary experience lift is so small, light shut off, very hot lift and when pressed the alarm for help, the person on the intercom didn’t understand English. Which meant we had start shouting ‘help’ to get residents/ holidaymakers attention, where they then translated for us. Had more help from the residents/ holidaymakers rather than the staff. Very scary. View wasn’t good, was facing a construction site.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The security was willing to help us at all times, even though it is out of his job description.

- The hot water turned off twice. we tried to contact the hotel via phone the second time but no one answered. So at midnight we had to ask the security for help because there were no staff available. We tried the shower at the gym, and that worked fine. Once the repair man came, he advised the solution was to turn all taps and showers in both bathrooms for over 10 minutes for the hot water system to work. I think for the location and what you pay for, this is poor quality. - The booklet advises garbage collection is every 2 hours. This wasn't accurate, and I had to ask security to help because we didn't want to leave garbage out the front door where cats could get into it. The staff are not available, and it isn't the security's job to help out guests but he was kind enough to help which we appreciated. - Overnight the drains smelt awful. This was also evident at the outdoor bathrooms in villa azur. - The images online show a different pool included as a facility. This pool is not accessible to guests and rather has a smaller, cold pool available just near the gym. This should have been clearly stated online. I wouldn't have booked the room if this was the case.

The location of the place is great - 5 min drive or 30 min walk to Yalikavak Marina, close to some excellent dining venues in the vicinity. The accommodation was spacious, clean, modern and really well designed. Part of the beach used by guests of Dplaj Rezidans was very well groomed every morning and beautifully attended by the staff of Villa Azur. Villa Azur has got very good menu with plentiful choices for breakfast and lunch or snacks on the beach. Great presentation of food!

It was a true pity that spa facilities were not open, I was told they were already closed due to season end.
