Nice semi-detached house with a little garden area, functional kitchen, clean beds and comfortable living room. Large Tesco is round the corner and it's about 15 minutes walk to the bus station taking you where you need.

The bathroom would deserve a repair/renovation and some of the mattresses in the bedrooms would also need a replacement. Don't use the parking bay next to the house if you have a low profile car as you'd risk to damage the bottom of your car. It's better to park on the street.

Wouldn't describe it as a "fully equipped kitchen" - very hard to cook for the 12 we booked it for, even using both kitchens. The oven in one property is particularly poor. We purchased and left extra baking pans at the property as they were necessary Not enough seats for everyone - both sofas and dining tables.

The standard of the property was extremely poor. If the property had been cleaned before we arrived I would be most surprised! If it had, there needs to be a change of cleaners!! A bottle of bleach( which we had to buy) later, at least the bathroom was passable (just) as there was black mould around the bath and bath handles!!!! Bedside lamps had no bulbs, toilet door difficult to close, not enough towels and pillows, bedding was stained with what appeared to be blood stains, we have pictures to confirm. The property is advertised for 6/7 people, but only table and chairs for 4 people. Owner needs to check as we found 6 maggots on the carpet near the radiator in the main seating/dining area. Advert states wine glasses and cleaning products, neither of which were available. No blind at the bathroom window, when the window is open, the neighbouring property has a clear view into the bathroom. The heating is inadequate, the day was cold and wet, but radiators were lukewarm. Tried calling the contact, no response! Advert states cooking and eating utensils; basic is understating what was available, we had to go to buy simple things, such as teaspoons, (only plastic children's spoons available) fish/egg slice, wine glasses, etc. A serious area of concern is the garden area where the paving is very uneven and a serious trip hazard. I just hope the owner has adequate insurance? Locality is excellent, standard is so, so, poor. such a shame.
