Very spacious, lots of room for a place in London compared to others we've stayed at. Right next to Hounslow High Street, so that's a big plus. Kitchen was spacious and there were enough beds for everyone in our group. Plenty of bathrooms as well, another rarity for a property in London.

Hosts were not super responsive, hard to get an answer from them using the Booking.com messaging service. I recommend you use WhatsApp for anything urgent. There was also a neighborhood fox that comes around and tears into garbage, and in general just hangs around the property. Garbage collection was not great, not sure how often they come but it was piling up outside the property.

Handy location, spacious property, a good base for London activities

Lacking in some of the basics for a large house for multiple guests - short of furniture (e.g. only 4 dining chairs - there were 7 of us), crockery (e.g. only 6 mugs), cutlery (e.g. only 6 forks), pans (e.g. no grill pan or frying pan) etc. No hair dryer. Top floor shower stuck on maximum heat. Not enough towels. Just some little things that we would have taken for granted.

Only a short 7-10 minutes walk to underground station (Hounslow East). Easy access to high street with lots of dining or takeout options available. Beds were very comfortable and although under Heathrow flight path double-glazing made any noise non-existent. (We didn't mind the planes though and quite enjoyed them!)

Some of the facilities would benefit from a little TLC but as we only slept in the property and were out throughout the day so we were not overly bothered. Clearer instructions in the house on using the hot water and heating would have been helpful - such as a handy instruction manual for the house.

No hot water for second half of stay and landlord stopped responding once I tried all the things he suggested and they didn't work Dishwasher filthy and made kitchen smell so had to clean it even though never used Only 4 bowls, 5 mugs and 6 towels for booking of 8, short on cutlery too, no oven trays at all Loo full of urine and made house smell like a public toilet so had to scrub toilet and floor to get rid of stench Broken fences and spindle on stairs so not safe for children Good job we only had 1 car as drive was constantly being taken over by several cars and vans coming and going next door Shower in loft doesn't work properly even when there was hot water...water just runs down wall not out of head and fan didn't work

Location was quiet and plenty of places to eat or order in. Plus there was plenty of space for the family and all the appliances/heating work correctly. Also the host was incredibly accommodating as we had to check in early which wasn't an issue, furthermore at the very last minute we I had asked if we could check out a couple of hours later than normal and he was generous enough to make that work.
