De retour dans votre location, connectez-vous au Wi-Fi ou installez-vous confortablement devant la télévision avec chaînes par câble ou satellite (avec vidéothèque).

We could not be happier with our stay here! Even though the Northern Lights eluded us, the yurt made up for it! Soaking in the jacuzzi at the main house with the snow all around you was so much fun!
Clean, well stocked, warm, excellent ideas and easy communication with the owner…. You couldn’t ask for more.
If I ever make it back to Alaska I would definitely want to stay here again.

My mom and I loved staying in this yurt! It was much bigger than we expected, and had every comfort of home that we could have asked for. It was a very comfortable stay with a gorgeous view above Fairbanks. We had bad weather luck for the northern lights but enjoyed getting several inches of snow.

This is our second time staying here. It’s large and comfy and has everything you need. The washer and dryer are so nice to have! The location is perfect. Close enough to town and far enough out to see the northern lights from the porch. Love this place!

This yurt was a highlight of our stay in Fairbanks. Its truly a unique property in its location and design. My 17 yr old daughter loved staying in the upstairs loft with an open view to the night sky and we had daily visits from a mom & baby moose that we were able to watch from the front porch. Highly recommend.

Colleen and the yurt were Amazing!! We loved every minute of our stay. The yurt was clean and well stocked. We absolutely loved our time on the deck. Although it was early for the auroras, Colleen kept us well informed on the forecast. Thank you for an amazing time and I truly hope to be back.

The yurt was just the right distance to feel like you were out of town but easy to get to Fairbanks and all the surrounding things to do. Stayed for just a few days visiting my son who is stationed at FT. Wainwright, could have stayed for a few week! The view from the porch was great any time of the day. We were there in the summer and I hope to return sometime to stay and experience the northern lights.

The yurt was super comfortable for our family of three. It is thoughtfully designed and has everything you might need for your trip. Very clean and quiet with great views. Aurora viewing was great right from the porch and driveway, and Colleen had helpful tips for viewing. She also was easy to communicate with throughout the stay. We would highly recommend the yurt and hope to return!

Got lucky and viewed the aurora twice from our front porch! It was nice to not have to join a tour or drive anywhere ourselves in the snow. The yurt was very clean and had everything you needed. Carol was always easy to contact and made every effort to make sure things were right. I would definitely return.

Staying in the Borealis Yurt was an amazing experience. The snow and the trees were absolutely beautiful and the sunrises were breathtaking. It was clean, and warm, and had all the amenities. I loved the twinkle lights in the loft and the big fluffy comforter on the bed. Even though the Northern Lights did not make a great appearance the nights we were there, we still had a lot of fun sledding down the driveway, hiking through the snow, and going to the Chena Hot Springs (about an hour and a half away). I would definitely recommend staying there if you are visiting Fairbanks.

Beautiful location. Two locations nearby to watch Northern lights. Provided sleds. Everything we needed in kitchen. Clean.. Beds very comfortable. Kept very warm with cold weather outside.

This was a cozy place to stay during our Alaska adventure. The host was very accommodating and offered many helpful suggestions. While we did not see the lights from the yurt, although lots of stars, luckily we caught a spectacular northern lights display on our way back from the hot springs and ice castle museum.

My husband and I stayed in this property with my senior citizen mother and 1 year old child and it was the most ideal rental we’ve ever had.

Our first VRBO experience. Was terrific, booked early out. App told us when we needed to pay and it was all good. Our host was very helpful. One of the perks of the site was viewing the Northern Lights. Her information packet was extremely helpful, regarding the property, things to do and NL viewing. She sent texts with links to view all sky cameras and what was happening with them. We are experienced viewers but this would be helpful to new viewers. We will be back.

We loved the rental, very beautiful and inviting. Mother nature put on a show for us the last night we stayed. The northern lights danced the night away. They went right over the yurt. It was an amazing experience. We will be back!

We had a great time staying at your Yurt! Fun hike to the top of Moose mountain. Easy to get to the Alyeska Pipeline and Gold dredge 8. Perfect sleeping arrangements for my family. We had a great time!

This property is just far enough from town to be convenient but the seclusion is also very nice. Colleen had everything ready and was available for any needs or issue which there were none. Excellent communication and property is as listed. Definitely will stay here again.

Came to Fairbanks to take my son to college. After four nights in questionable hotels along the 2200 miles from Seattle, this was a mirage in the desert so to speak. Just as pictured and so relaxing.
I’ve admittedly never been in a yurt but it felt more solid than my house, cozy, well built and so inviting. We watched vhs tapes like it was the 80’s and I slept better than I did the whole trip. I was not able to utilize the kitchen due to my schedule, but from the cupboards and drawers I opened there were all the necessities. Easy jaunt to town and the thunderstorms were top notch!

The location is great for dark skies but also close enough to the city to enjoy things there as well. Very comfortable stay… The yurt it was exceptionally clean! We hope to visit again… Maybe in summer next time.
