The owner 'forgot' to mention the site next door. I had to leave one day before term, and beside of some cheap excuses, nothing else got in exchange. Overall a ruined stay

For what I was going to Bucharest for, this was perfect. the bed was really comfortable also.

This studio apartment was perfect for our stay. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean and well-decorated, it had a useable kitchen, a well-functioning air conditioner, an iron and ironing board, and very important for us, a washing machine. The host communicated well, and the keys were easy to find. This allowed us to check-in without a problem even though we arrived around midnight. We stayed in this neighborhood for nine days because it was close to family. It is still possible to get into the center with bus 301 stopping right across the main street that goes to Romana Square, or you can get to the Metro stop Aurel Vlaicu with a 15 minute walk. You should just know that this is not as close to the heart of Bucharest as other places, but it is a great value if you don't mind using public transportation. There are a number of restaurants and grocery stores within a short walk (there's a small Mega-Image shop just around the corner on Strada Smarand Braescu and a larger Carrefour Market 5 minutes down the street on Caramfil). The Promenada Mall, which has other food options and a grocery store, is just past the Aurel Vlaicu metro stop.

Nothing major, really, at all. The city shut down the hot water for several days, but the shower has a separate water heater, so it was fine.

Very cozy and clear, the apartment looks nice and comfortable with all necessary items.

No hot water. Impossible to take a shower with freezing water.
