The apartment was clean but had a musty mildew smell which bothered my sinuses. There was a dehumidifier on that indicated the issue. People were up at all hours in the apartment above which interrupted my sleep.

This is a fantastic basement apartment. The unit was very clean and well furnished. Easy parking and in/out directions were simple and clear. Would not only recommend, but absolutely consider staying here again if we’re in the area.

The property was clean and comfortable and we were happy with our choice. The draw backs were the limited natural light as it was a basement apartment, no hairdryer and unfortunately, the access information for the property was not sent to us before check-in and we had to waste time to contact the host.

The apartment is walking distance to the main part of downtown Charles Town, and a 5 minute drive to whitewater rafting and good hiking trails. Harper’s Ferry is close by. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The apartment was clean, quiet, everything functional. It was a bit quirky and I enjoyed some of the amenities like the record player and albums and books. The apartment is walking distance to the main part of downtown Charles Town, and a 5 minute drive to whitewater rafting and good hiking trails. Harper’s Ferry is close by. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Suggestions to the owner:
A mat at the front door with a place for shoes to follow the no shoe rules would be helpful.
Maybe 2 power strip in the bedroom, one for each side.
A taller toilet for older people. It is very low.
Sealing up the windows and door. It was comfortable inside but we put a towel over the bedroom ac unit.
Just suggestions not complaints.
