Property was as pictured and described. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Two of the rooms are very small but they worked out for us anyway. Easy to get in and out of the subdivision and nice path to the beach

When we arrived we got the opportunity to meet the owners. They truly take pride in their house and there is no reason to ask why. It is beautiful from top to bottom. The view is truly one of a kind in Corolla. For the 7 years we have vacationed here, this house has the most amazing unobstructed view of the beach, for a house that isn’t beach front. 10/10 would recommend this house to anyone.

It was a close walk to the beach. It was not clean, garbage disposal did work neither did the hot tub. The 1st level was extremely hot, smelt horrible and there were a ton, at least 100 flies. Bathroom had bandaids stuck to the wall and half used soap bar. Clumps of hair on carpet stains on pillows.

The house is beautifully designed, welcoming, and fun: the consensus from our three generations. Three floors of comfortable, updated living, with ready access to a gorgeous, wide stretch of private beach. Great modern kitchen, good AC, updated appliances, comfy queen sized beds, excellent wifi and tv offerings, plus bunks for the kids. Nice pool table and other games in the rec room. Pool is perfect for kids. We had a few minor issues during the stay but the property manager and owners responded quickly and effectively with fixes. staying there

This was a great house for the outer banks, easy walk on a sand trail to the beach or slightly longer following the roads and board walks. Pool and hot tub were great. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans but absolutely no spices, not even salt or pepper. No dish soap, dish rags, sponges. We were also told with 3 minutes warning that our check in was delayed by 2 hours due to cleaning. We were told there was nothing they could do but we could go all the cleaners if we could sit by the pool. When we arrived there were no cleaners there and the house was cleaned with the beds made and towels on every bed. Obviously a big communication problem but luckily for us it didn’t affect us negatively.

The vacation rental was perfect. House was big, pool was in the sun most of the day. We all loved it. Would definitely stay again.

There is so much good and not so good. Location is awesome. Furniture and decor is drab, tired and outdated. It has nice swivel chairs but sectional slip cover-which once was pretty- is no longer. Great dinning table. The huge, fake trees and plastic flowers in the corners are covered in a thick layer of dust. The bath mat was extremely dirty. The main tv is not hooked up to cable. Can only watch on your own subscription. But there is no info on the tv or anything. No info on when to put out garbage etc. No info on what’s in the area. It’s is a short walk to a very nice beach. Very nice pool. We had a great week because we really enjoy vacations together and we could laugh at the 80s decor.

Second time stay - updates required
This house is in a really great location right across from the Harris Teeter and within walking distance of the beach. It has a great pool that we spent many hours enjoying. The rooms are a great size and we especially loved the view of the ocean from the upstairs living room. We enjoyed this house so much the first time that we decided to stay here again. Unfortunately in the two years since we first stayed it seemed to have taken a beating from the inflow of guests and needs some updating and a deep, deep clean. Many of the items in the kitchen were overused and should be replaced, as was some furniture and fixtures. None of these things are a dealbreaker, but are certainly appreciated touches that make your stay more comfortable and help to justify the price tag of the week.

They saw the housecleaning crew arrive around 2:30pm and they did not leave until around 4:30pm so we were not able to get into the house on time at 4pm, as promised. Also, they didn’t do a very thorough job of cleaning. The blankets in the closet for our use were not washed beforehand (stains and not folded), floors were left dirty and the pool area was left with beer cans (in and around the pool area) from the last group of guests. This was all a little concerning, especially given the current circumstances where cleanliness is crucial. The house was perfect for a group of our size (10 adults, 4 kids) and it’s a short walk through a sand path to the beach. Like I said, overall we had a great week- I would’ve just liked the cleaning crew to have done a more thorough job and spent more time there (maybe arrived earlier). I will say the AC unit had an issue later in the week and within an hour or two of reporting it, maintenance was sent to repair the issue so we appreciated the prompt response for that. Thanks! :) We enjoyed our much needed vacation.

poor property management
We had many issues from not getting the house code, dirty house , broken washing machine... the list kept piling up . Every time I spoke to someone, they took my number and did nothing .
I will never stay at another house managed by this company. I don’t think the owners have any idea how bad their house is being managed.

Great getaway
Beautiful house, nicely decorated. Nice sized rooms. Really appreciated the extras....beach chairs, floats for the pool. Nice grill! And beautiful view! Close to lots of things to do.
We were unfortunately evacuated thanks to hurricane Dorian, so our time was sadly cut short but I would stay here again(only this time not the first week of September!)they were very good at communicating with us to keep us posted on the evacuation.

8/10-8/17/19 visit
This property suited our families needs almost perfectly. There were a few housekeeping issues that we feel should be addressed such as cobwebs up high as well as on the chandelier. The windows should have been cleaned as there were a lot of dead bugs on them. Floors could have been cleaner as we could feel sand on them upon arrival. Also the carpeted areas need shampooing. The kitchen was very well equipped but needs some larger serving bowls for families and dish towels. The bathrooms could use some more bath towels as well. The morning sun is blinding so blinds on the family room and dining room windows would be helpful. The description to beach access should be a bit clearer. We had three toddlers with us to walking through the sand from the house to the steps was difficult. We ended up walking the street to gain access. Other than those few ideas, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return again.

We loved the outer banks, it was our first visit.
The process was seamless from signing up for rental through our stay and then departure. The property was well kept. The landscaping and external appearance was very pleasing. The house was clean when we arrived. The view from the upper levels were gorgeous. The location was great, close to a store and even better duck donuts. The scenery of the upper outer banks was more pleasing than we saw as we went further south. The short drive to north of Corolla to drive along the beach and presence of wild horses was a wonderful experience for our whole family. We would highly recommend this rental property and are already considering a repeat visit next year.

Rough Beginning
The kitchen sink was not usable the first twenty four hours we were there. Air conditioning unit on the ground floor froze up and flooded the queen bedroom, which made it uninhabitable for three days. Kitchen refrigerator did not function until the third day. Along with the sink it was difficult to cook and store food for twelve people!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was extremely clean, and very well stock with every kitchen amenity you could imagine. We will absolutely be returning!

We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was. From the kitchen, to two high chairs, towels, linens, the list really goes on. It's very clear that the owners really care for the house and want to make sure you have a comfortable stay.

Beautiful property, great location
The house fit our family. It was wonderful to have the option of either the pool or the ocean Beach so close. The grocery store was so close. We were close to lots of fun actuvities

perfect view, perfect house, perfect location for needs
We stayed for a week at the end of may with two other families that also had young kids (ages 1 year - 8 years) and it was absolutely perfect for us. Each family had their own space while all being together. The pool was a great size for us and the proximity to the beach worked fine. It was great being so close to the grocery store as we probably went every day. ha ha! We had a little trouble with the outdoor shower not having running water, but that was addressed quickly considering it was Memorial Day weekend. We also mentioned to maintenance that the downstairs refrigerator and the wine cooler were not cool and I believe a service request was put in, but that was never followed-up with while we were there. However since those things were a bonus to us it wasn't that big of a deal. It just would have been nice to have them cooling properly. All in all it was wonderful stay and we highly recommend it!

Perfect home. Perfect ocean view. Great location for groceries, and shopping and activities.
Home is well maintained and perfect layout for large group. Would sleep 12 in the bedrooms. View of ocean over the dunes from entire wall of Windows on top floor. We highly recommend this home.
