Could not work the cooker till day after have a bad back due to bed being uncomfortable was bird poo all on the balcony

1. The Toilet seat was broken. 2. The main bedroom didn't have handles on the door. 3. The bathroom sink was block. 4. The oven didn't work. 5. The pots and pans were disgusting.

The proximity to the mall with the shops and restaurants. The apartment had lots of day light and sunny on a good day, unfortunately the furniture was in very poor condition and made for a very uncomfortable stay despite all the positives.

Nothing in the apartment was as advertised which made for a very disappointing stay, far below expectations. I would say to anyone planning to stay at any of the properties managed by this organisation, what is advertised is not what you will get and there is no one to speak to for anything. The management is only interested in taking your money, then you are on your own to make the best of a bad situation.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen facilities and equipment. Although there was only one teaspoon and no cloth to wipe down surfaces. Good comfy beds but had to make up the second single bed and there was no single duvet for the double duvet to cover it so it was a little uncomfortable sleeping with an uneven duvet. Use of two bathrooms is really good as there was 3 of us staying so that was helpful. Water took long to go down in the shower room after showering. The apartment has everything you need like towels, wash stuff foil and dish soap too. Great shower power. Lots of pillows.

The terrible view of the scaffolding is awful to look at. This should be told about upon booking this property. 4pm check in is VERY LATE. It was dark and raining. It was difficult to find the lockbox and a struggle as its quite far to walk with luggage all the way there- not everyone drives! No hooks to hang anything ! 1 teaspoon for 3 people isn't good. Carpet was awful and looks very dirty. Damages to wall behind the door handle as well as marks on the lino on bathroom flooring. Damage to the cupboard above the oven and all these other damages that were there just make the property look very run down compared to how it is viewed online. It gives people a very false impression. You must fix things in the place. No smart TV so back to watching regular free view TV wasn't good. Lack of decoration for a homely look. Needs updating.

The apartment is spacious and convenient for the station and shops.

The facilities in the apartment are in need of a major upgrade, oven markings are not visible, we could not get the dishwasher to do a hotwash, the kitchen tap spout is missing parts resulting in water spraying out if you turn the tap on too fast and the kitchen cupboards are in a poor state. The bed frame in the main bedroom needs urgent repair as it is rocking and knocking the wall, even with the slightest of movement and it is not possible to turn the tap in the shower to adjust the temperature once the tap has warmed up. Communication from the host, pre our move in date was sporadic to non-existent, taking a long time to get a response to the simplest of questions, I can go on with more.

absolutely nothing to like about this property. don’t let the photos decide you. it is disgustingly dirty and not been cleaned. the beddings were all stained and grubby, the bathroom/shower was dirty there were pee stains on the mattress it just not been looked after. the toilet door is broken. there were bugs crawling everywhere and a strong smell. so much wrong here can’t fit it all. i put a complaint with the owner whose attitude shared the same similarity with the apartment. he says he sees nothing wrong with the property and it is not a 5star accommodation and the pictures do not show that it is dirty!! The photos showed on booking. Com are totally different from reality on flat # 362 Winterthur way, the furniture are too old. Too much noisey either from the train or from construction work. The owner did not inform me about the construction maintenance around the flat so I didn't expect to find it this condition considering the price I paid for! plus alot of noisy from the labors on the morning. The apartment is very hot during the day. The apartment is not clean and I found inscects on the floor. The bathrooms does not have ventilation. The main bathroom have leaking on shower and was not fixed well by owner prior to our arrival.

The checking in was easy and quick. The location was great. Short walking distance to Festival Mall which comes with lots of food options and groceries store. Short walking distance to the train station as well. The facilities of the apartment is good enough for daily necessities.

Have to walk quite a distance to the carpark as we are not allowed to park in front of the garage. Did a feedback on the cleanliness of the sofa seat as i gotten some bug bite while sitting on it. No action was taken, hence i was only sitting on the dining chair throughout my stay. Requested for extra fan due to heat wave, no answer from Host Requested bug spray for the sofa, no answer from Host Requested host to check on the washing machine, no answer as usual.

Whole block is surrounded by scaffolding on Monday workmen were walking past on the scaffold . Tv didn't work appears to be no signal would not returned. Host ignore request for a refund. Luck we only booked for 2 nights. The work should be me tinned on the property listing

The overpowering smell of bleach and the fact the apartment is in a construction site. There was also no AC even though it had said there was.

The whole flat needs abit of touching up and furnitures changed the beds were so uncomfortable the sofas have seen better days. Holding the kettle while making a cup of tea so that it doesn't go off .is just a joke when kettle is 10 pounds only at wilkos. Bad smell comes from both bathrooms which is very unpleasant.

There was a substantial amount of mould in bathroom. When it rained water or sewage leaked through the roof which caused a horrendous sewage like smell. When we attempted to contact the property owner nobody would answer the phone, contacted booking.com who also tried but to no avail. After 18 hours we were eventually told that the property owner does not answer calls after 6pm so you have to fend for yourself. The eventual response from the owner was that he did not know when the leak could be fixed and to place a bucket underneath and keep emptying it. Avoid Basingstoke Central Apartments, I would even let my dogs stay there.
