When I booked this apartment on Booking.com it was stated that the payment I made was fully inclusive of all taxes and surcharges. However, the advertisement on the website had been made by Maeva a French letting agent and they failed to include quite a number of additional costs: 1. Cleaning was not included in the payment I made 2. Linen and towels were an additional cost 14 euros each for 6 people = 84 euros! 2. Wifi was not mentioned and I enquired and they stated that would be additional. In fact it was included in the cost. 3. City tax of 37.80 euros was payable on arrival - this may be French custom, but there should have been something to state that this was the case when I booked. 4. The ACTUAL agent that took care of the booking was Flaine Immobilier - so I received a raft of confusing messages initially from Maeva and then from Flaine Immobilier. I originally asked about linen and wifi and received info from Maeva. Then Flaine Immobilier dealt with the arrival time and keys and then presented me with an addditional bill for the city tax.
