Country caravan park quiet good value for proximity.

The area was good.

I stayed in a chalet (El Barca 1).
There the bed was comfortable and the place overall quite quiet.
The bathroom was correct, the whole place looked like a hotel room.
- The Wi-Fi sucked !
- Animals have taken up residence between the false ceiling and the roof, and move around making noise at all hours !
- I had no water in the bathroom one morning, which the staff reacted to promptly !
- No kitchen in the whole place !
- At night it's freezing with the 2 poor thin sheets provided, so it's not so easy to have a good night !
- The washing machines are certainly not expensive but capricious (probably because of their advanced age)
- The woman at the reception is not the most smiling and friendly !

It's not a fancy holiday caravan park, there are workers ect that also live there and they were very quiet and respectful ect. Lovely and quiet, beautiful gardens, good hot shower and outside seating. Lovely staff and very helpful. Note- if your after a place for work then go elsewhere as the phone/ internet service is limited but perfect for people wanting to escape the everyday grind of the technology world. Will stay again 😊
Not a negative thing but this park is near a strip of rainforest so you will most likely experience the wild life as we did and had a possum is the roof cavity of the bathroom haha. If you don't mind the occasional bump or knock then it's fine. 😊

Lovely place to stay, reception was lovely and helpful gave us some advice on tourist attractions and avocados for our toast in the morning. Lots of bush turkey's and little wallabies roaming around the park

it was convenient and close to the event we were going to
-the room had a really bad musky/stale smell which was noticeable the whole night.
- at midnight a smoke alarm in the room alarmed really loud and woke us up than turned off again.
- the type of people hanging around the Caravan park did not make it inviting or comfortable.
-payment was taken 1 day beforehand which I was not notified about other than a photo of my receipt after payment was taken- this was not appreciated.

loved how central it was to everything. how peaceful it is with wild life walking through the park. good amenities. loved the radio playing in amenities block. very clean, the van was very clean. will go back again
the only down side was the lack of kitchen tools, eg tongs, flippers, and may need an extra small fry pan. and if I have to pick on something a hand rail on one side of the steps.

It was a bit odd going through a communal kitchen to your room. If no-one else is using the kitchen it's ok
