Upon arrival at this place we first noticed ripped screens on the outside, paint chipping off, and overall run down building...it is in a shady area of town. Parking on the street is difficult to find a spot. Definitely needs a facelift using it for an Airbnb. When we entered there is definitely a musty smell inside. There is minimal furniture for seating. Overall the inside decor was sub-par at best. The day we arrived it was hot. The unit doesn't have AC, with the bedrooms on the top floor it was unbelievably sweltering inside, and only two small fans provided in a three bedroom unit. In one of the bedrooms there was a broken window that had bubble wrap taped to it. With 80 year old parents and a husband with MS we decided to not stay here and left within 5 mins of arrival. Even without that, I wouldn't have stay there myself either...I just felt gross being in this space from both the inside and outside surrounding area. I have stayed at plenty of Airbnb and this one, by far, was the worst I have encountered. There are plenty of budget conscious hotels and motels close by that a traveller would be better served to stay at.

I thought the place was a one level apartment but it’s a 2 level house - much too big for me and my boys so it was a little weird to stay in there - far from cozy. I thought we could walk everywhere but there was so much construction in the area and very few pedestrians around so I didn’t feel safe to walk anywhere, so we drove. The city market was very close by the apartment and we ate dinner there every night.

I didn’t like that there were broken windows, a keypad entry and no window coverings on the first floor. Also, there were rat and termite traps all over.
