The unit is very small. The bedroom does not have room for a dresser to unload your suitcase in and the bathroom door is a sliding door that does not fasten. These things are not in the description of the condo or we would have tried to find another one for our 2 week stay. Also, the heating and cooling units were defective and didn’t work correctly. I spoke with the manager but he failed to remedy the situation. Loved the location but will stay in a different unit next time.

The locks on the front door looks tacky and I didn’t like not being able to be confident the door was really locked when locking from the inside. Paint is peeling in spots inside the unit. The gable is falling off if the door on the inside of the bathroom door. The curtains on the front of the unit which is the bedroom are see through so l slept on the couch my entire four night stay. The sliding glass door curtains are filthy. There is a pole for the sliding glass door instead of a lock. The temperature up & down buttons don’t work on the living room unit and the unit in the bedroom doesn’t have heat. There was an iron but not an ironing board. There were only two wash cloths for my four night stay. There are no plugins by the bed to plug phones in but since l slept on the couch, I guess it wasn’t a real issue. The listing stated renovated but it’s only partially renovated (kitchen area & bathroom). I really enjoyed my trip and time with my family but the accommodations were not to my satisfaction and the property manager that was assigned to me was out of town during my stay.

Loved the location of the property! Very convenient to the beach. It was within walking distance to a great seafood restaurant. We will definitely stay here again. However, we will not rent through VRBO. After talking to other renters and staff, we determined that the best option is to rent directly from Beachers Lodge. While our room was in a great location, overlooking the pool and a great view of the beach. Our condo needed some attention: the shower was clogged (water was over our flip flops), there was not enough “hot” water for 2 to shower, the condo was not as clean as I would have expected, the door had a non functioning deadbolt, the curtain rod over the sliding glass door was broken (causing the curtain to drag the floor-which was nasty), could not open and close the sliding glass door (it was worn out and was sliding metal to metal, the sliding glass door would not lock (owner had a pole as a lock), not enough towels, sheets on the bed were worn out and there were dead batteries in the remotes. Most, if not all of these issues could have been addressed by on site staff if we had rented through Beachers Lodge.

All was great but check in because he didn’t tell us that the packet was at a different location. He said it was at a box but he didn’t say that the box was off the property.

We're St Augustine residents, but it's nice to get a place with easy access to the beach now and then. I found this condo to be exactly as described and it fit our needs perfectly. I was surprised that the bed was a large queen and it was totally quiet at night. All in all we enjoyed our stay. The beach access was great and we slept well. Can't ask for much more. We'll definitely stay here in the future. There's a fairly new restaurant / bar across the street (Fusion904). Food was pretty good and the bar had a good older crowd that we enjoyed.

This was a perfect spot for me, my teenage daughter, and her friend. It’s not a big place, but it was so so close to the pool and the beach. Clean and nice and sofa bed was comfortable.

Location is amazing! Close to st. Augustine without all the people. This condo is literally steps from the pool and beach. Condo is older but was clean and has everything you'd need. The beach is gorgeous! Pool area is super clean and closes at sundown so you wont have a ton of noise in evening. Pizza place and bar restaurant and ice cream across the street. A little ways away a dive bar and a nice seafood restaurant. Felt very safe here. Downside is light shining thru curtains in bedroom.. they arent blackout and light is right by window. also the internet is open, not secure so you need to pay if you want secured. I used my hot spot to work. It was hard to connect to public internet also. Entry door was also very hard to open sometimes, you gotta mess with it to get it to open sometimes. Overall though was wonderful experience and I would stay again.

There are a lot of steps to take if you are not using ramp. The door was a little hard to open and close. Overall it was worth the steps to have a balcony with a view and the sunrises that were breathtaking.

Small one bedroom. Not a place for more than 2 people. Really no where to unpack belongings for 3 people. Bedroom Mattress is ready for the dumpster. There is no dishwasher. The refrigerator did not work. I reported it to the property manager. No one was available to fix it. We lost some perishables. Property manager did refund some of my rental fee as compensation. During our stay, they must've been renovating above us because there was alot of hammering and scrapping early in the morning. The elevator stopped working during our stay. They do not provide beach chairs or any other accommodations for the beach as some other rentals do. The room could definitely use some upgrades. However, the beach view and proximity to the beach were perfect!! Absolutely perfect!!!

We had such a great vacation just the hubby and I. The bed was super comfortable, and we had a great view of the ocean. Only complaint would be the sliding door that takes you to the balcony. Not a biggie at all but definitely needs fixing. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Property was on the older side but cabinets and kitchen was updated and the space was nice for a short stay. It needed some balcony furniture and the door was difficult to open also needed better curtains in the bedroom but with bed was comfortable

My family and I enjoyed a quick trip to Florida and enjoyed our stay at this place. You cannot beat the views of the ocean or the short walk out to the beach. This is a great little spot if you are looking to spend time by the ocean.

So set up like a hotel but no services are available to you. After hours or holidays you have to call a # they are further away from St Augustine than I had thought but overall nice place. Outside doesn't give the best of appearances but the rooms are nicer. Small, just right for couple maybe 3 if you don't need privacy. Door was very hard to get into, not sure jammed or just old. Not liking that basically have to clean the place b4 check out yet I pay for a cleaning fee. Not that we are pigs but we have to do our own dishes, gather all towels and take the trash out so what did i pay for? Also hint they shut the pool down early for use and the water wash from the beach is also turned off at a certain time so you can't rinse your feet/shoes. You would think they don't want that in the rooms but IDK.

The bath and kitchen were recently beautifully re-tiled, but the sliding door to the balcony barely opens and curtain rods are zip-tied to the wall! A classic example of cosmetic upgrades, while neglecting functional repairs. There is also a bright light right outside the bedroom window- a simple blackout shade would go a long way to providing a better nights sleep. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but hope the owner will address some of these deficiencies that will lead to a significant improvement in the property.
