Amazing location, couldn't have been better. Room decor was fun and what I expected. Large apartment with everything we needed, and the outdoor terrace was a great space. Huge breakfast. Sophie was very helpful and all the girls were lovely.
The only downfall is the steep stairs to get into the apartment but we expected this and by the end of our trip they were easy to navigate.

We booked the blue room on 2 separate occasions while traveling Europe, and we are so glad we did. After 8 days away between visits it felt like coming home when we returned to Alkmaar. We felt welcome, comfortable, clean and safe. Would highly recommend.

Nice breakfast table, but could offer some choice.
It was quite loud as we stayed over the weekend and also at night as it is in the city centre.

The stay at SOEPP was great, the hotel has a unique calm and cozy atmosphere. The room was spacious with comfortable bed and large shower. What I really liked was staff, the ladies were kind, very helpful and beautiful. The breakfast was one of the best I have had for months so I should definitely visit this place again.
The room was bit noisy. Partially it was because of Dutch style windows but the main reason was the entrance door through which there was always noise in the morning. Apart from this and very steep stairs I have no complains.

What a pleasant stay! Everything was so colourful! 🌈Even the breakfast ☺️ We stayed at the orange room and i would say that for two or even 3 persons is really spacious. Everyone helped us a lot with every question we had. Thank you Sophie & Vasili. We 'll come back for sure.
Only the stairs were inevitable and narrow but they helped us carrying our heavy stuff upstairs ♥️

A lovely place to stay, everyone was friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were great. The location was perfect for wandering around the town and going further afield on the bicycles we hired.

Unique accommodation in the old centre of Alkmaar. Relaxed place with a great eclectic atmosphere. Large apartment. Large and tasteful breakfast. Excellent host.

The location was great and the staff really friendly and accommodating. We really liked the retro vibes in the flat and nice touches such as juice and beers in the fridge. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

The SOEPP is a very nice place to stay in the center of Alkmaar. Sophie and her staff are very friendly. The appartment does have all you need and does have a cool style. The breakfast is fantastic, the food in the restaurant as well. There are several parking garages in the not too far surrounding.
As there are several bars close to the SOEPP it can be louder on the weekend nights. For us it was no problem but if you are noice sensitive it might be too much.
