Amazing luxurious spacious house perfect for a relaxing holiday/weekend away. Great location with the beach at the end of the street. Tastefully furnished with lots of nice homely touches, well equipped kitchen and well stocked pantry with lots of staples for guests to use. Very clean house. Loved having several undercover outdoor spaces to choose from. This was a special weekend away for a close group of friends and we couldn't have picked a better spot or property – everyone said this multiple times! It really felt like a home to us and it was hard to say goodbye.

A beautiful house with large spacious rooms and a very spacious outdoor undercover area. A sort walk to a beautiful well protected beach. The kitchen is well equipped and the basic supplies were very handy. I would personally stay there again.

Our small group of ladies had a wonderful stay in Pearl Beach. Jo was very responsive and the checkin process was seamless. The house far exceeded expectations with it being much larger and spacious than anticipated. So many different indoor and outdoor areas to relax and dine. The beach is moments away and a short leisurely stroll for a coffee. Although there is no view of the water from the property this doesn’t matter, as you have a lovely bush setting, can hear the ocean at night, and see the sandy beach from the door. We hope to return and possibly spend longer.

The light in the house and the two large covered verandahs made for a lovely relaxing stay in Pearl Beach. The place is surrounded by trees and gets the soothing sound of the waves. Lots of little touches that make it feel cosy and homey even in the rain - heaps of throw rugs, books and board games on the shelves, beautiful furniture, great heating (gas and a/c, we were very warm), extra blankets in the bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, pantry staples and lots of coffee pods! We were working during the week and the internet was fast, with lots of space to work and a very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The host was very responsive and clearly has put a lot of love and thought into making sure their guests have a memorable stay - I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable - it was a home away from home. It’s very close to the beach in a quiet street (all the streets in Pearl Beach are quiet). Jo is a fabulous host. Her communication is great and nothing is a problem. She even left a gift for the birthday girl. I’d definitely highly recommend The Summerhouse.

We could not have chosen better for the outstanding living spaces with covered patios which offered protection from the adverse weather while feeling open with a visual connection to the trees all around. Large open living , dining and kitchen area. Large outdoor living areas - two separate options. Large bedrooms, all but one with queen beds. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of sitting areas away from the main living areas. Close to beach. Tastefully decorated. Very well kept. Pearl beach is a beautiful spot. Done.

Our family had the most incredible holiday at The Summerhouse. The house is in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach. The house is beautiful, spacious and immaculate in its presentation. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and lots of space for the family. It felt like a home away from home! We have just returned from a gorgeous, relaxing week with our family of adult children in the beautiful Summerhouse. You can't help but relax in this house. When you first walk through the door you are immediately transported to a place of calm and peace. Each room you visit is a new pleasure, and then you go up the stairs.... Upstairs bifold doors open up to the gorgeous balconies on both sides, creating a huge area for sitting, chatting and eating. All with beautiful sea breezes passing though. Throughout the house there are also so many spaces to get away from everyone, curl up and quietly do a puzzle/read a book/snooze - which is so necessary when you are in a group. Everything we needed was available for us in the kitchen, every room was beautifully presented and very clean, any questions we had were quickly answered by the lovely Jo. We highly recommend this wonderful spot for anyone looking to relax, reconnect with family/friends and discover the hidden gem that is Pearl Beach. Our family of five is so thankful for our special week in The Summerhouse. Such a joy, thank you.

We loved the Summer House. It was perfect for our multigenerational family of 10.

We had a wonderful week relaxing with our kids and grandkids. Great location. Wonderfully designed to fit the family in style and comfort.

There were three generations in our family group of 6. It was a wonderful property with all the mod-cons, and lots of little touches - like extra toilet paper, cooking oil and condiments, sharp knives! plenty of towels, no shortage of cutlery, crockery and glassware. We didn't do a heap of cooking, but there were also plenty of cooking implements, bowls, etc. There was a massive BBQ on the main deck upstairs (watch the temp - I had to keep the settings much lower than I am normally used to). There was ample space to spread out with big decks upstairs and downstairs, and plenty of seats. The carport was large enough for two vehicles and bikes with lots of room to spare (4 normal cars should fit without any problems). It was also very tall - I didn't have to worry about lowering the UHF antenna or removing the roof pod. Less than a block to the beach, lots of walks and cycling all around. Also an outdoor shower and hose to get rid of sand from the beach. Nearby towns Umina and Ettalong are about 10min drive away for shops, restaurants, etc. Friendly and helpful before and after our stay, and we happened to meet Jo and Cameron when we arrived which was nice (they were waiting for the gas bottles to be replaced). The only thing I can think of that could be improved would be some extra light to cook on the BBQ at night (we just borrowed a nightlight from one of the bedrooms for that). We would all love to stay again!

Also the walks in brisbane water national park to Patonga is just a few minutes away, though it was raining during our stay, we managed to have a few really lovely walks in the forest to warrah lookout on top of a cliff. And if you're a coastal walk lover, you can take an easy 20minutes drive and enjoy the breathtaking boardwalk in the Bouddi national park. Would love to stay here again!
