My wife and I stay in GM every year. We had the rare occasion to slip away for a few extra days this last week. Brandi was outstanding to deal with and the home was fantastic. We would definitely like to come back!

We vacationed in July with our daughter and her family of 5 (kids 8, 6 and 20 mos). The home was on a large property with plenty of room for the kids to run around with a beautiful campfire and additional outdoor seating (our fav). Inside was very clean and clearly updated. Decorated with fun and natural touches, the bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. Our bed was especially comfy, and we're kind of picky. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed and more and lots of storage for the food we brought! The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and we had reasonably short and beautiful drives to Macinac Island, Painted Rock, many waterfall hikes and more. We were even advised how to protect our property from bear and warned that there had been more sightings recently than usual. We hoped to see some, but didn't! But we were very watchful with the kids outside. We would definitely come back here again if we make a return visit to this area! Brandi was an excellent and attentive host!

Great cottage in a great location: quiet Area within walking distance of town and beaches. The house is clean and well supplied. Owners are close and readily available. Highly recommend!

The first hour that we were there, a bear made its appearance, how cool is that. Over all, the stay was phenomenal. The house was nicely done, and felt very warming. I would definitely stay here again if i get back to the area

Our family of 5 stayed here in June. The house was very clean and just as described. It had everything we could have possibly needed. The location was great. Grand Marais was lovely. If we were ever to come back to this area we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The rental was clean, comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. The property manager was quick to respond to questions prior to our arrival. We enjoyed three days getting outside, and our nights by the fireplace were relaxing, with no concerns or issues disrupting our visit. We would definitely stay in this rental again.

Host was a great communicator and very responsive to questions and requests. Kept us up to date with snow conditions as our group was going there to snowmobile.

We stayed for a weekend snowmobiling trip. Good location, 1 minute from restaurants and gas station in town. House was well furnished and comfortable. Would stay again!

The house was as described and as expected. We weren't there too much due to day trips but would definitely staff again. I would recommend if you will be cooking vs eating out you take a can opener and some saran wrap, foil, or storage contai ers for left overs. Otherwise a very well stocked kitchen.

House was very clean, bed was comfortable and I felt like I was at home. We watched deer in the yard!! Quiet neighborhood and yet so close to town. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. House is decorated nicely. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Grand Marais.

Spotless, perfect property
Such a lovely property! Perfect amount of space for our family of 4 and the best-stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. The backyard is also perfect, with a sitting area with umbrella on the deck and a fire pit area farther out in the yard. You can even pull your car into the garage! The owner/operator is quick to respond by text and it's easy to access the property by code. My only complaint is that there are no blinds on the windows (and the sun comes up quite early this time of year!). I was awakened each morning at 5:30 AM when I was hoping to sleep in a bit on my vacay! ;)
This property is a very short drive to the lakeshore and the "town" (more of a tiny village) with the also tiny but well-stocked grocery, a gas station, and a few restaurants.
You can't go wrong with this home; we enjoyed it very much!

The house was very clean. Nice home away from home. 4 classmates rock hunted, walked the Sable Falls trail, the Milky Way was right outside the patio door!! The sunsets at the park were breath taking, and a double rainbow! Found a Upperlite!! WHOOP whoop!! We WILL return.

Stayed here for a weekend girls hiking trip. Close to town but on dead end road so it's quiet. Really nice house. Property manager was prompt when I had a question. It was very clean and comfortable. Great stay!

We loved our stay! The house was perfect! The beds were al comfortable, kitchen was stocked, fire pit was great. I’d like to come for longer next time. This house was located near everything. Coffee on the patio, beach combing, hiking in pictured rocks, lunch at a cute food truck in town, and yooperlite hunting at night. It was perfect! Thank you and We’ll be back

We had a wonderful time at Sadie Shores! The house was spacious and very clean. I especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen utensils and pans which allowed us to easily make and eat meals at home. We rode our bicycles all over town and into Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore where we spent several days playing on the beach below Sable Falls. We would highly recommend this location for families looking to spend time together outdoors and experience all the Upper Peninsula has to offer.
