I honestly cannnot say enough great things about this property! The cabin is simply perfect! It has everything you need to make you feel at home. You can certainly see that the owners take great pride is making sure that their property meets all your needs. It was a wonderful location for our girl’s weekend. We picked the coldest weekend of the year, but it was so cozy and the views were spectacular! We communicated with Cori about questions we had and she instantly replied to make sure we had the perfect stay. Their love for this property is evident! We are already trying to decide when we can go back!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this gem of a rental! Cori goes above and beyond to make sure her guests feel welcomed to her beautiful home! We stayed around the holidays and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Location was great…peaceful runs in the morning and close enough for us to do tours at Mammoth Caves. We had stopped at Food Lion on our way from Nashville since there aren’t really any grocery stores nearby. Cori was great with communication to make sure our stay was the best it could be. We highly recommend this rental!

From the beginning, before ever stepping on the property my interactions wit Cori was pleasant from the get go.
She answered all my questions beforehand. The cabin itself was perfect for our family. It had such a cozy vibe and the grandkids had a blast with all the games and toys there. It was very quiet and relaxing with a view to boot. We will definitely plan for another trip in the future. Such a great spot to unwind with family.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin . The view is amazing overlooking the lake ! The beds were comfortable with warm cozy blankets . The kitchen was well appointed with all the amenities we needed to cook our meals . We loved the large dining table to gather around to eat our meals and chat . Comfortable seating in the living room to lounge on and share laughter and good times with more cozy blankets to snuggle up in ! The cabin has an awesome deck in back with lots of seating and great views .The check in was really easy as was the checkout. Cori was great to have as a hostess and we hope to return next year .

We were on a girls golf trip at Barren River and stayed three nights at the cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, gifts from the host, beautiful river view and tastefully decorated. The deck and deck furniture was so comfortable we stayed outside as much as possible! The fire pit and hot tub were amazing as well. This cabin was above and beyond expectations!! We will return😎

We had a group of 10 people stay at the Kentucky Kajun. We went fishing, hiking, shared great conversations at dinner and by the fire, visited a bourbon distillery, went to Mammoth Cave, horseback riding, boating, and to Nashville for a day. The house was clean, comfortable, and views were amazing. There was something for everyone. It was exactly as advertised if not better. I hope to go there again. Absolutely loved it !!!

We stayed at the Kentucky Kajun with our adult sons and their families including 5 kids from ages 2 to 9. There was something for everyone. The kiddos loved the lower level with games, toys, books and bunkbeds. The adults loved the full kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, spacious parking area, and of course the unbeatable view. Our host was fabulous--very responsive to questions and paid attention to every detail to make our stay comfortable. We will book this property again.

Family of 13 (10 adults 3 kids) all stayed in this house together. Such a beautiful home and loved having the views of the woods and lake behind us and the farm in front of us. The house was extremely clean and well kept up with. The hosts were very welcoming and have a ton of recommendations for the area. There is a lot to do in the area, we went to a lot of different parks and went to the Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo and Chaney’s Dairy Farm. Would stay here again.

This property was perfect. The managers within my region were burnt out and just needed to release some stress and our stay at the Kentucky Kajun was exactly the place to do that. We had an absolute blast and Cori was absolutely wonderful as a host. Strongly recommend the Kentucky Kajun for anyone wanting a great peaceful place with an amazing view

Had a great long weekend at the Kentucky Kajunz the owners went all out with little things throughout the house such as snacks, water, fans in each room and some bathroom essentials. The cabin was beautiful and had an awesome view. Had a great weekend just hanging out with our adult children and our two little granddaughters. Would definitely recommend this to families

What a wonderful lake house! It was very clean and stocked with everything you will need. We had 4 generations staying together and everyone was comfortable. Loved the deck for morning coffee and the fire pit was a big hit for roasted marshmallows. The little ones loved all the toys! We will definitely return!

We enjoyed this cabin so much! They thought of everything!! It was so well furnished. We had 8 adults and we had plenty of room. It had so many homey touches. We loved everything about this cabin, from the well equipped kitchen to the wonderful fire pit. It was so convenient too. We enjoyed the beach at the state park while there. It is probably the best rental I’ve ever been to and can’t wait to plan another trip there. Thank you for making your cabin feel like home!

Our family included 6 adults and 6 children (ages 1-7). The accommodations were absolutely perfect! Cori has gone above and beyond expectations of a host! The cabin was so well equipped even for the children. They loved the toys and all the great books. Highly recommend!

The house is gorgeous. The owners are wonderful. The house is super stocked. The surroundings were unbelievable. Haven’t had that much peacefulness in a long time. It was the perfect place to be one with God.

Great central location between Nashville, Bowling Green, Louisville, and Mammoth Cave National Park. Great house With a view of the lake host was very responsive and house was well stocked with kitchen items. Towels and general supplies. I would highly recommend this place and host.

My family and I LOVED our stay at the Kentucky Kajun! It was my husband and I, with our extended family, including four grandchildren, ranging in age from 7 to 4. We gather together once a year from across the midwest, and this house had everything needed for our grandchildren. The house was extremely kid-friendly, with toys and even a foosball table! There were many, many activities within driving distance, including caves, beaches and dairy barns! Our host was wonderful! Cori was responsive and everything went as planned! And the home was sparkling clean! We couldn't have asked for anything more!

This property was amazing and perfect for our family from Indiana and Georgia.. Very clean and well stocked. The house has so many special touches and the area has many activities which the host outlined in our welcome info. Bedrooms on 3 levels worked very well for us. Loved the firepit, side porch and downstairs game area. You will not be disappointed with this house and the communication was excellent. We hope to return!

The Kentucky Kajun lived up to its online billing!! Great location on the lake, lots of open/shared and separate spaces for a family of 14 to spend five days, clean and well-stocked w/ plenty of things to do and spaces to hangout (games, grill, fire pit, tables/chairs, etc.), and very near a State Park, lake & marina, and Mammoth Cave. Couldn't have asked for more!
The owner is very organized and provides lots of information about the home, the area, and places to visit.
The owner also appropriately mentions taking caution when heading down from the backyard to the lake, but we did it w/ several younger kids (the rope is invaluable!). For families with young kids, note a few trip hazards where the height of the decks differ and on the landings & short step going up & down the upstairs stairs.
We could definitely see going back as a potential 'central meeting spot' for the extended family in future years.

We know photos can sometimes be misleading but not at Kentucky Kajun. The house exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our family reunion. From the games inside and outside you will find this house perfect for all and the table fit all 14 of us comfortably. The host was available for all questions and let me know all the areas in the vicinity to visit but we never left the property. Not only was the house perfect for us and our three sons families, the grandchildren didn't even miss their phones and computers (and that says a lot for children in today's world). I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed when you rent this house. We all hope to be back at the Kentucky Kajun again. Don and Sandy A.

Cori had the cabin well stocked, except tissues, that would have been nice to have. Everything else was fully supplied for you, even had some Toiletries if you forgot anything. Everything you would need in the kitchen and grill! We had a great stay. It rained 2/3 days we were there and we lost power both days, and Cori was very quick to respond and call in to the electric company. We stayed inside a lot due to the rain, but it would have been nice if the outside deck was covered and the outdoor ceiling fan and speakers worked we could have enjoyed some time outside. The last day was nice so we got to enjoy the new graveled firepit which was really nice. Overall great cabin to stay at with a nice view of the lake.

We stayed with blended family (9). Everyone enjoyed the place and location. There were many opportunities for us to do things together and in small groups. The hosts were most gracious and honored our privacy. I will recommend it and consider returning.

We grew up camping at Baileys Point as a children, now we are much older and enjoy the comforts that a place like the Kentucky Kajun offers. Great home with lots of amenities, and a nice view of the lake.

Great place for family reunion/couples. We all had queen size beds and our private bathrooms. Kitchen very well appointed. Fire pit was great addition. Home was spotless.
