What I like the most is that the room is so cozy and spacious. The interior design is great too, it really felt like a home far our home. This is something we will consider again as our accommodation once we get back here in Boracay.

The hostel was AMAZING!! Brilliant coworkers and an excellent breakfast included for a low price. You still get some privacy in your bed once the curtain is closed. Bathroom and toilet are only shared with other 5 people in the same room so no stress involved.

The room is a bit small and it would be nice to have a personal locker for valuable belongings or hooks to hang clothes. However, you really can not complain with this price:)

The place was great! Clean and spacious, perfect for vacation. It’s also fairly close to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was superb and it was not ‘tinipid’. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. Would love to go back again!

Here’s my review of Kommons as a solo traveler – I’ve stayed in many hostels around Southeast Asia and this one tops the cake. Hostels are extremely limited in Boracay (based on what I’ve researched just here on booking.com - I could be wrong and others are just not listed.) I made my booking as soon as I came across this listing upon skimming over the many positive reviews. Kommons is just located by the main road and a 5-min brisk walk up to the beach. Prime location and even finer service staff. The crew bothered to remember my name and they were all very attentive to my needs throughout my stay. For the price you are paying, you’ll be bunked into a nice cosy bed with fresh sheets and towel laid out. They will even change your sheets and towel upon request. I was on a work trip and wifi connection was straight fire. Easily the best hostel in Boracay.

Corporate side could be more understanding. I initially made a booking that did not go through because of a bug on the booking.com app. Upon rebooking, I received 2 notifications about a double-charge. Emailed the support team immediately to explain the situation and if they could help reverse the duplicate payment. Immediate rejection. I let that slide and didn’t bring it up during check-in since the bed didn’t cost much to begin with. I just wish that the support team could be more flexible with their terms on a case-by-case basis.

The included breakfast which is simply amazing. One of the best food I've had on the island. The rooms are extremely clean, the bathroom is great, the beds are comfortable. All the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. They even organized my whole trip from the hostel to Caticlan airport for a reasonable price.

It was a bit empty - didn't meet much travelers. But I guess it can't be helped since it is still brand new and not famous enough. I'm pretty sure that this hostel will be extremely popular in the months to come, once the peak season comes.

Quiet room, spotless bed and environment, 5 minute walk to the beach. The bathroom is spacious, the toilet is clean.

A highly recommended place to stay when you and your family, friends, or special someone want to relax and unwind from reality. The staff are very accommodating and polite. When we arrived we got some refreshments which is very commendable. Ma’am Fatima, Sir Mark, Sir Melvin and the rest of the team doesn’t settle for less. They always ask you what you need, how’s your sleep, and your day. They even text you when you’re outside to check you up, and ask for what else would you need for the next day. Basically, a staff you can call like a second family. Breakfast is very good when you are going for a full meal. Chef Jervic and chef Orly are the best, you can alternate American and Filipino breakfast depending on your mood. When it comes to internet connectivity or signal in general, you’ll never go wrong because it’s very fast. When you wanna go to the beach anytime of the day, it’s a perfect location because it’s just a 5-10 minutes away from the sea side. Our family felt very secured because of its high-tech door-lock feature. A home away from home, indeed. I would choose Kommons by Kamino a hundred times compared to other hotels in the island. Price is very much justified with an excellent service. 1000/10 💛💛💛💛

We loved everything from the room size, cleanliness, breakfast, people and location. For us that needed to stay in a quiet neigborhood, but still accessible and near the beach, it was perfect for us. From the staff to the establishment itself, it was wonderful. They also use keyless and cardless entry to rooms which is new to us. The staff provided us best quality service. Booking in this hotel has really good value for money ❤️ Totally exceeded our expectations!

More choices of food (pastries, bread, pasta etc.) would have been nice since the chef really prepares delicious foods. We would love to try from more options

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern facilities. Decent size breakfast.

Check in procedure and room entry was dependent on using a mobile phone, scanning QR codes, etc. This is frustrating and cumbersome for seniors. All room were on 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors, and no elevator. Again, not senior-friendly. Location was on the busy, noisy main rood through town.

I can't express enough the amazing experience we have had at Kommons. Great large nice modern and very clean rooms. Amazing location - just 3 minutes from the beach and all smenities there. But the best thing was the team at Kommons. They went far and beyond the extra mile to cater for each and every whim we've had. They've been with us on the phone until midnight giving us recommendations and helping us out with everything. I really can't recommend this place enough and am looking forward to coming here again. Special thanks once more to the great team who made our experience unforgettable.
