Gorgeous home in a great location! Had more than enough supplies, was very clean, exit preparations were simple and quick. Plenty of space to be outside or inside. saw some great sunrises and sunsets. Everyone was comfortable, plenty comfy beds and bathrooms!

Great house and location for 3 day getaway. Sunsets and dock was fantastic.

Overall very good experience. Two slight snags. Keypad code did not work upon arrival. Also, house has a musty smell… needs to be aired out. The view and location were superb. The house was more than a pleasant surprise overall.

We only had one issue which was promptly corrected. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The pictures don't do this property justice with the sunset views. The property is a little older but still very functional for lake access. The home has everything that you'll need to cook, enjoy the lake views (did I mention how beautiful the lake sunsets are), and have a pleasant stay for your vacation. Our family will be using this property again!

As you drive down the street you will see properties going from huge new homes to small older homes, and they are all beautifully maintained outside, except for this one. When we pulled up it looked as though there hadn't been a gardener there in ages. The lawn is cut and beautiful, but it looked as though the needles from pine trees on the property were just blown into the ground cover and bushes. There are many broken branches and dead bushes indicating that it's been neglected for a while. I swept the deck and cleaned off some of the bugs and debris from the garage doors and house. Inside there was a musty smell, which might have been from the house being closed up, but the house inside was very clean. The kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped. The pictures of the inside of the house on the VRBO site are very accurate. We had to buy some light bulbs for the inside lights but the flood lights in the driveway were also out. Generally the house inside was terrific, and as indicated in the list of amenities, the owner supplies very nice kitchen towels and cleaning supplies, and toilet paper, paper towels, and other basic cleaning items (although an ironing board and iron would be a terrific addition.) The dock outside was spectacular and watching the sunsets from the dock was the highlight of the our stay. Overall I would recommend this property, it just needs cleaning up outside and the musty smell inside should be address.

The house was exactly as described. The kitchen is well stocked especially the pans, dishes, silverware, etc. There was plenty of space for the six of us (4 adults, 17 year old, and 12 year old). The owners provided kayaks, a connect 4 game, corn hole, and a fire pit. We took wood with us and used the fire pit a couple of evenings. One of the things that we enjoyed most was the stationary dock. There was a constant breeze coming across the main body of the lake. We compared it to the breezes coming off the ocean when at the beach. The sun actually sets across the lake from the dock. The sunsets were spectacular. We took photos every night. We rented a pontoon boat and did some tubing but mostly fishing. However we caught most of our fish at the dock including several big catfish (largest weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces). This has nothing to do with the house but you should know that this is a very busy lake especially on the weekends and evenings. We found the nicest souvenir shop called Lake Effects at the Stutts Marina and highly recommend the store. The owners are super friendly, offer a large array of merchandise, and the prices are reasonable matching what you would find at most souvenir shops. We made a couple of suggestions to the owners and they responded quickly. Thanks for a lovely vacation.
