The property is in a former storefront. It has been beautifully updated and decorated. There is an album with the history of the store and the owners. Very interesting. Wonderful amenities- they really have thought of everything!

This is a immaculate, comfortable, vintage decorated apartment. It had all we needed and conveniently located to the points of interest for us. We would stay here again.

Dee is an amazing host. Her communication is spot on. Her property is extremely clean and cozy. Location is great. Short drive to the town of Jim Thorpe or a short walk to a great breakfast shop. I highly recommend this property and host for your travel stay. When we come back next year we are staying here.

We were in the area so my daughter could participate in the yearly Running Festival. The home, as well as the town, is unique and historic, with the scenic Lehigh Valley Gorge as a backdrop. We had lunch at the Stone Pub and Eatery, dinner at China Garden, and hoagies at Tommy's Subs right down the street. The home had everything we needed, a big comfy bed, and Dee was a great communicator.

We have stayed here 3-4 times and everything is always superb. Dee is a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at Dee's VRBO. We were in town to see a friend perform in a holiday concert at the Mauch Chunk Opera House and this location was great for a home base for the weekend. Had a great dinner at the near by Union Public House "the only dive bar in Jim Thorpe".

The host is gracious, communicative, and relatedly, responsive. The home is lovely - and situated close to the center of town, and within a short drive to beautiful scenery (great hiking within a 5 minute drive). We enjoyed our stay; regretting only that it was somewhat brief. Would definitely return to this property.

My husband and I just loved staying here while visiting Jim Thorpe for a long weekend. Perfect for two! So cozy!! We arrived and had a parking space directly in front of the apartment. Easy access to the building, open the door and felt like we had stepped back in time. Upon entering the first thing we noticed was how clean the apartment was and I mean CLEAN! I have rented several vacation homes and Dee's apartment is the best kept place I have ever stayed. The bed is also the most comfortable I have slept in at a rental property and my own. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked to be well stocked. We had no noise disturbances at night. If I could give more than 5 starts, I would! The property is also close enough that you can walk to city center of Jim Thorpe if you wanted to. Do not hesitate book this place today!

Spacious for a studio. Good furnishing and supplies. Snacks and water added a nice touch. Wide choice of television services, but no broadcast network options. More opaque curtains in front windows would be better.

We have been wanting to stay in Jim Thorpe for a while and finally we’re able to a week ago. All the hotels in town were booked. Fortunately, I found this cute little place across the bridge from Jim Thorpe. It was cozy and charming and Dee was very accommodating. Would recommend!

Quaint, charming, retro and oh so cute - close to everything - comfy bed - had everything we needed.

This property was very clean, well maintained and furnished nicely. It is not located within the historic town of Jim Thorpe but it is very close…in what was once considered East Mauch Chunck. Getting to the nearby trailheads for hiking and biking is just a short drive and there is a cool little brewery up the street a little ways. The property manager is very communicative and attentive. All in all it’s a great little place to stay!

Dee was incredible! Communicative and invested in making sure we had a wonderful stay. The place was adorable and beautifully furnished. We loved the extra large bed and fully equipped kitchen. Totally recommend!

Plenty spacious! Light and airy! Super comfortable bed! Everything was beautiful, the kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and living room! There is some street noise but it never bothered us. Easily parked in front or across the street. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

exceptional! This place was spotless, every little detail thought of, the decor and the set up was incredible!!! We did not want to leave and go into the town of Jim Thorpe - we wanted to stay in and relax!

It’s on a busy road so the only thing that was difficult was the outside noise level, but the inside was cleanly and charming. The owner provided excellent recommendations of the area and had excellent resources in the room making it easy to find activities in the area. It was easy to locate and ample parking.

Very good communication with the owner and the place was well equipped and clean clean clean.
