The rental property was darling! Clean and located in a great location for watching wildlife. The furniture was fine except the beds. They are not comfortable and we all had trouble sleeping. A real mattress would have been better and not memory foam.

Very nice condo, just as “advertised”. Great Wi-fi. Limited phone service due to hills, which was fine with us for the weekend! 😎.

Pros…Great time. Great location. Beautiful home and view of the golf course. Super clean. Great decor. Easy access from parking. Home had everything you needed.
Cons… Mattresses could be updated and the kitchen faucet needs a strainer.

Enjoyed greatly staying at this property. Proximity to Galena and all it offers combined with access to nearby multiple good golf courses and outdoor swimming pool (temp in mid 90's) was perfect. Unit was clean and well furnished. Back patio overlooking 16th green was great or chilling out in a serene atmosphere.

It was a nice quiet area. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the golfers.We were about 15 minutes from Galena. We spent one day visiting the shops. We had a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant. We golfed the East course. Everyone was very nice. Also ate at Durty Gurts. I would recommend this house. The one thing I was concerned about was we didnt have phone service. Which was worrisome.

Everything was great and things to do we’re not too far from property. We would definitely be staying again. The only thing we thought could use some attention is the toilets could be updated / bigger and mattresses definitely need to be thicker or a higher quality.

Excellent experience from initial inquiry throughout the stay. Many Galena homes tend to be dated - this was not at all. Very well appointed and stocked with highest quality appliances.

My family and I were in town for a wedding, and this property was the perfect place to stay. The property was very clean and very homey, and just a short drive to downtown. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings and listening to the birds.

Beautiful and updated condo! Loved how quiet it was and the view of the 16th hole was great! Loved sitting out there and watching the golfers. Only downfall was the beds. I felt like I was back in college sleeping on a cot. Would love to stay there again but unless some real beds are replaced, unfortunately will stay somewhere else. We did buy an egg crate which helped slightly, but definitely not comfortable.

nice and clean! The only thing i would suggest is another step out front to gain front deck. Long way for an older person. Also toilet upgrades would be beneficial as well. They were so low to the floor. Best view and most beautiful area! Will definitely be back!

We were able to get away and have a few days in Galena. We stayed at the Valleywood Golf View Villa which was well located, nicely decorated, and extremely clean and well appointed. Being that the villa has a view of the 16th hole, it was very fun to watch and critique the golfers as they played through. The deck had a good sun location and was very relaxing to sit on.

This 2 bed-2 bath villa is great for two couples to share. Bedrooms and baths are on different floors, providing nice privacy. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware etc. We were there in winter storm- and it was beautiful and walks were shoveled and parking lot plowed! Wild stay again.

Our ratings are low because we had to wash the dishes and pots and pans before we could use them. They were put away dirty from the previous guests. We found the furniture uncomfortable. The tub was dirty and the floors were not vacuumed well if at all. The best thing was when we realized the coffee pot didn’t work, a replacement was brought rather quickly.

With an easy walk from the car to the unit, the view was nice and was simply furnished. There is plenty of wood for the fireplace but ask for additional starts and kindling. The beds were hard for our liking. Galena is always enjoyable and stop at EmBe for great soup!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at The Galena Territory for a get-away. The condo was quite small, as shown in the pictures, but suited our needs well. We never heard sounds from the neighbors. We appreciated the beauty, serenity and walking on the paved paths.

Once you enter Galena Territory, it's like being in the timber - winding roads, beautiful houses - VERY PEACEFUL!! We enjoyed all the wildlife in the area, especially the momma turkey who took the babies for a walk every morning and would let them get a little bit ahead, then turn back to us and stretch her neck up high like those are my babies, aren't I so very special!! So much to do and see - it was a great central spot for getting nice day trips on the motorcycles up to Wisconsin, over to Poopy's - just an excellent location. Get the double crust pizza from Gobbies on Main - you will not be disappointed!! Planning an October trip next year so we can utilize the golf courses and enjoy the fall foliage!!

A rainy weekend. Villa was comfortable. Downstairs bath floor.damp. Could upgrade toilet. Tube floor slick. Mats. We both were cautious about slipping.

We were comfortable in the townhouse with 4 adults… 2 bedrooms and 2 baths worked well. We spent most of our time away from the property, but was nice to have this place to come back to.
Issue with upstairs toilet (fill valve not working) so hopefully that is fixed before next guests arrive (I did email the issue to property owner) and also the screen on front door was ripped so couldn’t leave front solid door open to let air blow through screen. The kitchen floor was sticky so I washed that with water to get sticky off and around faucets in bathroom not completely clean. All just minor things and certainly did not ruin our stay in Galena.
We enjoyed our stay in spite of the rainy Saturday…..

Property was perfect for our needs. The condo was very comfortable and location was perfect. Very fun to sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the 16th green!
Our family (staying in multiple units) enjoyed playing golf, a pontoon ride on Galena Lake, shopping in downtown Galena and a fun walk with goats. Very fun weekend!
