The apartment was really lovely . Beautifully decorated . The kitchen was well equipped .

It would have been nice to have access to watch Netflix and Amazon prime . I am sure you could incorporate in the price . That would be a lovely touch .

So glad we booked this perfect place to stay, already thinking about going back. Having the Nisa shop about a 20 second walk away was really handy. We liked that it’s very close to high street (but we didn’t hear much noise at all) Nice and peaceful with no noise from neighbours. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the photos, maybe even bigger in ‘real life’. Really comfy bed, great showers and bath and it had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Parking was a bit of an issue had to walk 10min from accommodation.

Location excellent, apartment clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable. Appliances all clean, lots of hot water for showers.

Some of the mugs were absolutely filthy on arrival,tea-stains, hadn’t been cleaned properly for ages. Toilet paper was extremely poor quality- these things make a difference.

We liked the overall modern appearance of the property including the decor and layout. The property was tastefully decorated with some nice art work. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The overall location was quiet despite being behind a busy shopping street. The kitchen on the whole was well equipped . North Berwick is a charming little town with some nice coffee shops etc...and beautiful beaches. Very easy to access Edinburgh from the local train station.

The location of the property was very difficult to find initially and only found eventually with the help of some locals. This was due in part to the directions which were provided which were very vague. We would have preferred to be given directions from the roads coming into North Berwick instead of when we actually were in the centre of town as there are are so many different roads and a one way system in force.( Not everyone has Sat Nav) We eventually found the car park which was the only one you could actually stay overnight and was free by the help again of a local passer by. We were lucky to park in the last space available, not sure what we would have done otherwise? The property still doesn't have a number or name which was confusing. As we were mostly cooking in the apartment ( Very few restaurants seem to be open at the beginning of the week) We were very dissappointed to find the oven was disgustingly dirty, and oven trays to match. We had no choice but to use it but found this very off putting, coupled with the fact that there were no oven gloves. When we queried this, I felt I was being rather dismissed and as if my complaint was very trivial. An offer was made to have a cleaner to come and remedy the matter but I explained that this would be a very big task and didn't want cleaners to come into the property in our absence as this would be a safety issue of our belongings. I just hope this has been rectified for the next guests! We also realised there was no hand wash or sanitiser in bathroom something I would think was essential during these times. Also I would have expected shower gel, and kitchen towel as standard in a property of this price. Also not sure where you had to dispose of your rubbish, never found the place yet so ended up taking it home with us.....

Location was very central easy to get around

If there was a view from any window but I guess the price would have been much higher

Good location and nice modern flat

Couple of bulbs needed replaced and entrance pathway was muddy resulting in muddy foot/paw prints taken into the flat

Access to property is via a dark and uneven alley - a torch would be very helpful!

It was a beautiful place , and so well located for shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay in the hideaway, we would definitely come back , it's very rare to see a property so well furnished and clean 10 out of 10 , to the owner who was lovely, and came right away when we couldn't access the key, thank you so much .

The outside sensor light in the lead up to the property didn't come on in time , and l tripped on a step and Badly skinned and bruised my legs, but it wasn't the fault of the property owner as it was a communal entry , it kind of spoiled our stay , as it happened on the first night, but it made me more careful , if it could maybe be mentioned in the welcome book , to watch the step when it's dark , but l can't stress enough it was nothing to do with the property we were in , Thanks

The location was fantastic. A home from home with everything you could require.

Nothing not to like! Parking may be an issue for some however we managed to park in the free car park nearly which was great.

Loved the location tucked quietly behind the high street and the accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and homely. Used the free public parking available nearby as directed by one of the very friendly local parking wardens, and the rental company were excellent in quickly resolving initial WiFi connection queries. Great selection of local restaurants and bars within a one minute walk. Added bonus in the accommodation of a separate shower room from the main bathroom. Delighted with the property and have already recommended to friends.

Didn't find private parking. Had to contact the rental company to access the wi-fi.
