it had a lift, the room was good clean and tidy

the noise from the road and the bars. the bunk beds were uncomfortable. parking was a bit suspect. staff generally were ok but the odd smile makes the difference.

Not much good about this place but the price was good and we were staying for one night only in a larger group being on a budget. Restaurant in the hotel...good pizza...

Rooms standard was inadequate. We actually been given a room with a shared bathroom...really? No English whatsoever...

I liked the very warm atmosphere in the restaurant and the food served. Such an level of attention, care and friendliness of the waiters is something very rare to find in Switzerland so well done guys👍👍👍

The rooms are a bit old and would do with some renovation but it's also normal for this style of hotels.

It was very centrally located, which we loved. Directly across from the train station, which made it easy to arrive, leave, and travel to nearby towns for skiing. The restaurant attached was also very convenient.

We liked the comfort of the room, nice beds, it was quiet and we had a good rest. Nice restaurant for dinner and also nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

The bathroom needs refreshing. The surrounding area is not particularly nice, train station is across the street, but it was not noisy or crowded.

Fine hotel in great location just in front of the train station (ideal when you're travelling by train). Nice stuff and good breakfast.

Whole hotel is not in ideal condition and needs renovation. But for 1-2 nights stay for people without high expectations and requirements it's an affordable choice.

The staff is friendly and the restaurant service and food were great. This is a good place to stay for skiing at Andermatt.

The shower is open to the room which makes privacy getting in and out difficult.

Hotel is easy to reach at just a few 100 meters from the highway / entrance to the Gotthard tunnel. Bed was comfy, not too hard, not too soft. Heating was alright, maybe a bit too much to my liking for sleeping comfortable.

Called the hotel to advise them I was running late due to high volume traffic in Italy, so they gave me an entrance code for the main door and informed me leaving the key to my room with my name attached. So far so good. At arrival, could easily open the door, however to my surprise didn't find the key to the communicated room (3rd fl.) but another one with also another name. As there was really no one available, I had no other option than using the remaining key and went to the room. Entering the room, it was quite spacious (a double instead of a single room as booked through Booking.com), so a plus although very 60's style (maybe 70's), nothing about possible WiFi, a small TV as big as my phone, but was there for 1 night to sleep and continue my trip the next morning, so decided to use the bathroom. This was build in the 60's, no real (normal) shower, a very tiny and narrow bathtub, a six year old could barely fit in, let alone myself, plus the loud noise that came out of the faucet, I had to switch it off as it was quite late already, and same with the bidet. So bathroom experience - Not Great at all! As mentioned, the bed was comfy, but the walls are quite thin and the room was next to the elevator, meaning I was kept awake till about 2am as guests kept coming up, not being quiet. To top it all of, at time of check-out the next morning I explained the situation I found myself in the night before and than one of 2 guys wanted to charge me for a double room which I didn't booked, explaining in Italian, I had no intentions to pay for the mistake they made themselves, to which the other guy checked the booking again and corrected the amount to be paid as booked.
