After reading the reviews of ants, bad wifi, and a uncomfortable bed with flat pillows and a hard to open door. I was on the fence about booking the airstream. I am very happy that I booked the airstream. Sergio offers a small safe and comfortable space for a short stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the stadium. I brought my Wi-Fi Hotspot so that eliminated the need to use the on-site Wi-Fi extender. I also decided to bring my own pillow. So I didn't have to worry about having a flat, uncomfortable pillow. There were sugar ants on the counter when we arrived. Sprayed some bug repellent on a paper towel and wiped down the counter and no more ants. I received an email with access instructions, a welcoming email, a area food suggestion email, and a exit instruction email. I stayed 2 nights LOL, Sergio made it clear he was available to answer questions. Will definitely book again if available when my son wants to see another game.

There is nothing a did not like just suggestions. 1st the lock instructions. The key is in a lockbox at the base of the "airstream" stairs. I was looking around the front porch when i arrived. 2nd to unlock and lock the door. Insert with the cut potion of the key facing the white fence and slightly turn left until you hear the click. To lock insert the key the same way but turn slightly right until you hear the click. 3rd the wifi, invest in a 3pc wifi mesh router system such as orbi or tp-link. One connects to your modem, the 2nd place near the window facing the airstream and the 3rd on the small table between the bed and the couch inside the airstream. ( sorry i'm a cable tech)

We loved this place. It was our first Airstream experience and it was interesting to see how everything in this place is well-designed. The backyard is very cute and beautiful there were sunbeds and other places for chill. The mattress was comfortable, so we slept well. Cuban street with a lot of restaurants is only 30 min walk (it's not far for such a big city) through an interesting neighborhood with chickens running around. The airport is close by too, so you don't need to wake up 4-5 hours before the flight. Everyone complained about wi-fi, and we had a solution - open the door (you can separate the door from the mosquito net) and open a window. The reason wifi works badly is that the airstream is made from steel. Also, there is a radio inside which we found cool.

There are only 3 plates and 2 of them are not for the microwave they have golden ornaments so if you put it into the microwave there will be sparkles, and they are more like bowls for soup. Just replace it with something more usable. It's mold in the shower and a lot of dust and dirt under the mattress. I don't know the purpose of the TV because it didn't work, so you could just remove it and create extra storage. The night before the flight water heater stopped working, so we can't take a shower before the departure and we didn't have time to solve this. About wi-fi, you could invest in a Wi-Fi booster or provide an extra router to improve the Wi-Fi for future guests.

it was in a nice area. I ended up being upgraded to an actual room in the house in front of the Airstream because I couldn’t get inside with the key.

The directions to get into the camper were ridiculous (insert with indentation facing the street and gently turn counter clockwise a quarter way but don’t force the lock to turn). The directions made no sense because the lock was horizontal so key couldn’t face the street and indentation was on both sides of the key. The host wouldn’t answer the phone (I made the host aware I would arrive at 2am) and eventually turned it off, so I had to sleep outside on a lawn chair for 3 hours until he replied via the app that could stay in a room in the house.

it was clean

air conditioning extremely noisy. the location is very close to the Miami Int’l Airport, so planes fly above the trailer. there were ants inside the trailer. internet did not work at all; very poor or weak signal. host did not reply to messages at times.

The Airstream has most of the things you need. Sergio carefully provided soap, bodywash, hair conditioner, shampoo, salt, sugar. The gas tanks were replaced promptly when we ran aut of gas. WiFi is good outside.

Wifi is awful in the Airstream. Impossible to use: unstable, super weak signal, you have to lift your phone close to a window, stay in a certain position. Moreover Sergio made it worse by ignoring our messages about the WiFi, making us thinking he was aware of the problem or that he does not have a solution. Comunication can also be improved: we received some messages which seemed copy/paste and out of the context. (Who knows maybe they were sent by a bot.)

The location and the uniqueness of staying in a G-Stream

the lack of host care about whether I had arrived or not, any contact with regards whether I needed anything or not, the very basic accommodation, really poor pillows, not totally clean shower, the WI FI NEVER WORKED inside the caravan…only out in the garden, teh advertised TV never worked because it was a smart TV and the wi fi never worked so the TV never worked
