The property was the perfect size, the kitchen was great. We loved the living room and everyone was able to sleep in a bed. We loved playing games around the giant dinning table. There were a few issues though. The cleaning crew definitely wasn't up to par. One of the toilets wasn't cleaned and the floors were a bit dirty, I had to reach under a bed for a sock at one point and it was pretty disgusting. We also didn't see in the VRBO listing where it said the owner might be popping into their apartment on the bottom floor. Maybe it's listed in other places but I scanned the VRBO listing a few times and it didn't mention that situation at all. Having the garage door open at 1 am gave us a bit of a scare. The driveway is borderline dangerous with the amount of ice that's already been allowed to accumulate. My father-in-law fell in the ice driveway twice while we were there. All in all, while we enjoyed our stay but it was due to being with family, not necessarily the enjoyment of the property. I'd say the property has some things to work on and wasn't worth the amount we paid for it.

The location and size of the house were a plus. The details and finish in the house missed the mark and we would not stay again. The main reasons are that the door to the garage did not lock, the tub to soak in was missing the stopper so not able to soak, and the hot tub was unusable due to the chemistry being off until the evening of the last night. We reached out to maintenance and they did respond to the hot tub, we did not notify them of the other items since we just didn't want to bother with them. The house also has an unusual odor on the first floor especially when the heater was on. The location on the other hand was great but requires you to have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Without it, you will not be able to get out of the driveway with snow/ice.

Nice and clean place. Nice size rooms. The only trouble we had was getting our 2wd vehicles out of the driveway when it was covered with snow. But we were able to make it work with the snow shovels and ice melt they had in the garage.

We had a very nice stay. The rental worked great for our daughter’s wedding weekend. Our first view of the aspens from the deck was breathtaking. The location was only minutes away from the wedding in Silverthorne and was the perfect size for our family of six. The kitchen was well stocked. We were able to enjoy the hot tub too. However, we would recommend someone check the railing on the deck. It is quite loose. Also one side of the mattress in the master bedroom seems to be worn out. The lock on the front door needs some adjustment. It didn’t work unless the door was pulled tight as you entered the code. Overall, though, we loved it!

This lovely home is comfy and spacious. It has a great kitchen and big table for entertaining friends or family. The hot tub was wonderful to enjoy under a starlit sky. There are beautiful views of mountains and trees, yet it's convenient to shopping in Silverthorne. There's a wonderful (challenging) golf course next door. My husband and I enjoyed a fun week in September playing golf, riding horses and watching the Aspen turn. We come to Colorado twice a year and look forward to staying here again.

The spacious home in Silverthorne was well located for our day trips to Vail, Rocky Mountain National Park and Georgetown.Our crew included me, my two daughters and their families and three young grandchildren. There was plenty of space in the three bedrooms. The home has a large deck facing mountains that display there magesty morning, noon and evening. The nighttime is given over to the stars. The living space and kitchen have room for a big crowd. We didn't cook, but all the kitchen essential were there. The oldest granddaughter played her first game of chess on the board in the living room. The house was clean and tidy. One thing to know about the area. Stores, restaurants and even gas stations close at 8 pm.

The property showed much better online than in person. When I arrived the Master bedroom king bed was broken. My Father was there we took the whole thing apart and did what we could to fix it the box springs were laying on the floor on one side. The furniture was very old and falling apart. The kitchen was missing quite a few things to cook and clean. Its a property that has such wonderful potential but fell short as being luxurious and feeling lie home.

Great property with lots of beds and room for everyone. The hot tub was great for relaxing after hitting the slopes. The garage is a plus and the views are great. Plenty of dishware cooking utensils. Beds are comfy and clean. Bathrooms were clean. There were some stains on the carpet but they weren't very noticeable until you really look. Overall this property is a great choice.

This house was pretty disappointing. The carpets were very gross and had permanent stains, crust, etc in bedrooms and living areas. There was a huge (~3ft x 3ft) ice patch that covered literally the entire entry stairs. The management company never gave us the garage door code. The door to the garage did not lock from the outside. The walls/floor were very thin. The gas fireplace did not work and we had to wait days for maintenance to come. When maintenance came they left our front door literally completely open.
There is also an additional living area in the house somewhere. We had no idea that this is a multi-unit rental and there were other people living in the house. That paired with the unlock-able door was pretty uncomfortable. We could hear them through the walls, and had to share parking with them, which also was completely unexpected.
Also the company does not give you enough towels, bring your own if you want to have one for the hot tub and the shower.

We had a great trip! The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook for 10 people for the weekend. Hot tub was amazing. The fireplace wasn’t working and Summit County Mountain Retreats was very quick easy to communicate with- someone came out the next day to fix it. Great and thorough communication overall.

Great place to stay. We had a great weekend skiing and when we got snowed in and couldn’t get home it was easy to reserve an extra night to wait for the roads to clear. Big dining room table was perfect for our group to play games and enjoy meals.

This property is amazing. Had a blast with my family and it had tons of room. The Xbox and movies were fantastic, great internet/wifi also! The place is well stocked and the hot tub was great. Only possible complaint I have is the fact the bedrooms could use curtains especially for the when it's snowy because of gets soo bright.

Overall ir was a great place to stay. Loved the hot tub. Stove wasn't working properly. Matty, the maintenance man was an absolute delight. Did his best to keep us happy. I would say the kitchen appliances need updating.

We booked this home in Silverthorne so we could spend 5 days with our children and grandchildren. There were so many positives--a spectacular view, outdoor seating, hot tub, foosball, chess, large table for all of us to sit for meals, a lovely kitchen (maybe add a pair of scissors and at least two more towels for kitchen?), seating space in living room for all of us to gather, and endless hiking and recreational activities for us to enjoy. All interactions with property management were warm and caring. Our only difficulty was the Wi-Fi. One of our son-in-law's had a 3-1/2 hour training he was to lead on the first morning after our evening arrival the day before. We didn't have Wi-Fi for him to use. He was able to handle his situation through a different provision, so we are most grateful for that. It took nearly a day to solve the Wi-Fi issue, but Scott worked tirelessly until he was able to help us. Without question, it was a family time we will never forget!

Be careful
Vrbo had quoted the FULL price to stay for the two nights we were staying at this property , but Summit County Mountain Retreats actually manage this property and they added another $139.00 to your charges and said that is the fee that goes to VBRO and if we had scheduled direct with SCMR and not thru VBRO we would have saved that $139.00 .
Also the fireplace glass had been broken earlier this year according to previous reviews . I had called the property managers before I confirmed our reservation and was told everything was working well including the fireplace . This was not true and the living room was very cold do to the draft coming out of the gas fireplace hearth .
Overall the place was good but needed to be a little cleaner although the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean .

They had an extra propane tank in case we ran out, kitchen was stocked with a lot of cooking options. Nice to have a washer and dryer. We would highly recommend 1884 Peregrine Lane, Silverthorne. One thing to note, if you are coming in the winter, have 4-wheel drive to get out of the driveway if it snows! We would book again!

Overall the place fit our needs, there were just a few things wrong, for example the curtains in the master bedroom were missing slates, so open to anyone looking in. Towels for hot tub not there, some of the dishes weren't clean when taken out of cabinet.

The pictures are better than the property actually is. It is spacious and has great views but is in serious need of updates. We had to do several things like call for housekeeping immediately. The garage was dirty so tracking in sand and dirt were imperative. We had to shovel our way out of the steep driveway. It started to snow Thursday and continued all day Friday…..they came to plow Saturday. They didn’t have much to do as we had already done so. The microwave didn’t work so it was replaced a day later. The oven door does not shut properly so nothing ever got completely cooked. The shower had mold. The interior trim was needing painted. I feel it was way overpriced.

One element needing attention - the fireplace wasn't working. Fortunately, heating was, so we just missed the look of the fire. Don’t expect to get in early. Though it was finished with cleaning at least 2 or 3 hours earlier, we were not permitted early entry. But overall, a mixed family of old and young people was super happy with our accommodations.
