We made a last minute booking through VRBO and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Communication and booking was easy and trouble free. Check-in was also painless as the from desk staff is super friendly and professional. (Ron is awesome!) The condo itself is absolutely beautiful with modern furnishings and cute ‘beach’ decor. It is complete with everything you need for your beach vacation. The owner even provides an umbrella and chairs for your comfort on the beach. This condo is an absolute gem and we highly recommend for your next Galveston trip!!

The condo is right on the beach with a perfect view of the ocean. It was clean and had everything we needed for a little getaway. The owner was a pleasure to work with.

The Islander East has been a destination for our family for over 40 years, and this most recent trip did not disappoint. The condo is nicely updated, clean, and has a great view from the seventh floor. Easy access within walking distance to the beach. Freshly redone tennis, basketball and pickle ball courts. The pool and lobby also looks to have been renovated in the not too distant past. The host was great as was the management at the Islander East. We would stay here again!

We loved everything about the condo and the location. The amenities available were wonderful! Tennis, pool, basketball court, other outdoor games. The beach was so clean and not crowded at all.

The view of the beach was awesome! We loved the walk down to the beach! The pool was nice but very small. The cleanliness of the condo was horrible. The bed sheets smelt moldy and stale. We had to wash and dry them ourselves because the bed sheets smelt dirty. We ended up going downstairs to front desk to ask for a vaccum because the floors were disgusting. The air filters in the air conditioning unit were disgusting. I ended up cleaning all the filters myself. The garbage disposal didnt work. The sink in the bathroom gets stuck on close. The shower was made for someone who is under 5ft tall. The stove top burner is so small you can only use one at a time. The shower tub drained incredibly slow. There was a light in one of the bedrooms and I felt it was too close to the bed that could have caused a safety issue like catching a bed on fire. Many of the outlets didnt work. The ac in the kijg bedroom would only cool down if it stayed on constant fan otherwise it would not work. The storage is horrible there. The owner has to much personal stuff there that there was no room and we had to live out of our suitcases.We ended up leaving early because we felt closterphobic. There is no kitchen table or anywhere safe for young children to eat. There was no coffee tables or side tables.We also didnt have water for a few hours for what we assume was maintence. The front desk was very nice to my entire family. There were more cons than pro to staying here.

Our family of 4 had plenty of room - the condo is bigger than it looks in pictures. Quiet, well maintained, comfortable beds, 2 balconies, great view! Pool is heated and perfect. Beach was wonderful. Great location, close to everything, but not crowded at all. We had such a pleasant experience! The only “issues” were that we couldn’t find an iron , the bathtub drained slowly, and the bowl sink is tiny. So, obviously no real problems!

Great place right on the water. Everything was as stated in the listing. The condo is in a great facility with grills, tennis, heated pool, and bocce ball, bags game, and horseshoe. Lots of things to keep you busy when not at the beach!

We loved our stay! The condo was clean, well stocked, comfortable and quiet. We were sad because it was foggy both days we were there but we could tell that normally the view of the beach would be spectacular. And the walk to the beach on a sunny day would have been just perfect. We enjoyed the heated pool and had it all to ourselves, and the staff and other residents were super friendly.

The rental property was exactly as described. The sunrise was spectacular. Everything was pretty much supplied. Enjoyed getting away. Very relaxing.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The place is beautiful and you can’t beat the location. It’s close enough to anything you’d want to do but far enough away to not feel overcrowded. We will definitely stay again.

This is the best unit and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The owner and the staff were once again incredible.

If you like close proximity to the beach without the chaos of beach activity, this is the perfect spot. Private beach entrance across a footbridge from the condo property. No crossing a road. We stayed in July, and the beach was pretty quiet with plenty of sand to spread out. Paige’s condo had everything our family of 5 needed. To our surprise, the bunk bed room also had a trundle bed, so all three kids had their own bed. The condo is light, airy, and beautifully decorated with two large sliders overlooking the Gulf (just as pictured). A/C units in every room kept things plenty cool. Blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in. We were never disturbed by noise from neighbors or surrounding properties. There are 3 gas grills on the property, as well as yard games (Bocce Ball, horseshoes, ladder ball, cornhole) and tennis and pickle ball courts. There is also a pool, so plenty to do if you want a break from the beach. A couple of things to keep in mind if you stay here, this is a small condo, so you’ll likely have to get creative with the space if you’re traveling with a group or family. Cooking meals for 5 was a bit challenging, as there is a two-burner cooktop and a toaster oven. The only dining seating was 4 bar chairs around the extended countertop. These did not impact our stay, just something to plan for if you’re staying here. We had a great time on our first ever trip to Galveston. We would absolutely stay in Paige’s condo again as a family!

Property was as advertised! Excellent place right next to beach. Outdoor pool was also refreshing when the beach was too hot. No issues or complaints with stay. Quiet and secure as well!

We really enjoyed our stay here! There was plenty of room for my 3 children and myself and I loved waking up to a great view. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach wasn't crowded. Everyone was very friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved how quiet it was, and very easy to get onto the beach! Very clean. Comfy beds. The "master" bedroom actually has sliding doors to block it off so beware if you want total privacy, there is just the doors.

Our stay at this property helped make this vacation one of the best times we have ever had in Galveston. The property is meticulously maintained, and the room was EXACTLY as the pictures appeared. When we walked in, we immediately felt at home. We loved the layout and the small details that made the unit more comfortable. There were extra towels, a Bluetooth speaker, and tasteful and homey decorating touches. You have a great ocean view regardless of where you are in the main room. I like to cook, and the kitchen was stocked with great knives, a few spices, utensils, mixing bowls, and cookware. The beach is a short walk across the boardwalk and secluded. This unit is a true gem; I can't wait to return and bring my family.
