It was Close to the beach

There’s no toilet in upstairs bathroom and occasional maid service would have been nice. The vacuum and broom should be replaced

The apartment is really well kitted out, clean and well decorated. Its close to a mini super market and a restaurant. The TV, bluetooth speaker system, Nintendo & espresso coffee machine were really good too.

The location is great for Anse Marcel Marina & the quiet and unspoiled beach close by, but, the road out to the main parts of the island needs a lot of repair. You need a car for this location to get to the both the main towns on the both the french & the Dutch side.

The location is very remote. There is a Cafe and a restaurant downstairs, but other than that it is pretty secluded from people.

I was informed there would be a pool that we could use at the hotel next door. Unfortunately we could not, but the host offered us their personal pool. There was not a broom in the room so I had to use the mop to sweep out the sand from the beach. The pillows on the beds were so flat we didn't sleep well. Also the towels and sheets all had stains which was off-putting because you couldn't tell whether they were clean.

Well equipped apartment, and beautifully furnished. Great place to call jome for a few days and Anse Marcel is a gorgeous quiet part of the island to stay on.

Apartment building still under construction, but inside the apartment is beautiful and newly furbished

The apartment building from the outside is still under construction, but to my pleasant surprise we walked into a clean, beautiful, and well decorated home. The apartment was a few minutes walk from the beach. So in the mornings I woke up to the placid sounds of the waves kissing the white, fine sand. Talk about bliss. Our contact, Daphnee was stellar, informative, and even greeted us with Lemon cake upon our arrival. While you can't tell from the outside, this place is a true rose. Also... there is the most convenient French grocery store right downstairs that sells artisanal cheeses and fresh pastries delivered daily. There's also a vibrant Italian restaurant right next door. You won't be disappointed being in the center of this charming hub.

Because the property is under construction (possibly due to Irma renovations), I will say they NEED lights in the staircase because at night it's pitch black. Be prepared to use your phone's flashlight should you walk home late at night. The region of Anse Marcel is extremely safe and everyone is nice. But the lack of light inside the apartment building is my only complaint.
