The location was excellent for beach access. You just have to cross the main road, which is usually not busy, enter the building they use for some meals, and the beach is right out front. The ocean water is much clearer here than on the Mayan coast and snorkeling is exceptional with slots of fish swimming around the coral. Unfortunately the coral shows significant destruction without much colour. The buffet food is adequate and there is a good variety. Fruit was really fresh and there were lots of ingredients for salad. The soup was always good and there was a cook to prepare omelets and main course items. Service was great overall and the place wasn’t busy so no need to wait for anything. The staff were mostly friendly, helpful and easy to access. My room was large, had a private balcony and was there was no problem with noise. The pool is huge and wasn’t busy when I was there.

The food was okay, but nothing special as far as the main courses were concerned.

I spent here only two nights off season and with so few people it was really great stay. Small coral reef on site, very good food, local tour agency in the lobby (I can recommend four-hour snorkeling trip with pick up from hotel's pier).

I felt safe, staff was amazing. the two girls that worked the pool and food area by the pool were exceptional.

This is a great diver's resort. The all inclusive food was excellent. Right on the beach...and excellent facilities for washing and drying your dive gear. Walking distance to the town center and other amenities. Free parking. Clean and well maintained swimming pool. Great inexpensive laundry services!

We have always loved coming here because the staff and location

This was our 4th two week stay in a year and a half. This trip we found things had changed. The food took a turn for the worse. Found ourselves eating elsewhere more than not. The new staff especially around the pool area need more training on speed and hospitality. We felt pretty much ignored by the new staff. The older staff were great as expected.

Centrally located to the shops and to the ocean

The internet connection the whole time was hit or miss. Couldn’t get my boarding pass and Verify documents because internet was done the last couple of days. Shower was made for people under 5’ and I am almost 6’ so it was hard to shower.

We highly recommend Hotel Cozumel! We just got back from our 7th annual stay in Cozumel, and we always stay at Hotel Cozumel. We love the place -- it's not too big and not too small, the staff is super friendly and attentive, and I was comforted by their extensive health / safety protocols. We love the central location too. The food is great, and this year, most meals were served in the open air restaurant by the beach (one of their safety precautions). The pool and hot tub adds to the fun, as does the poolside service for foods and drinks. One of the highlights was the buffet they set up by the pool one night, with gorgeous lights strung around to make the mood sparkle.

stayed one night! vinegar served as white wine, slop at the dinner buffet. now at Secrets snd its 1000 percent better.
