My wife and I did not make the trip. We both got sick the day before we were suppose to leave and had to stay home. Our friends went and stayed at the property. We've heard no complaints from them so we assume all was good. Sorry I have nothing else to report.

We stayed for five days this past week. The house is easy to find, and was very clean. Pretty much as described. We enjoyed the proximity to the two small towns nearby. I highly recommend the bowling alley and Pizza!
The only issue we had, which was pretty significant for the ladies in the group, was that the water smelled so foul. I called the owner, who was always very responsive, and he explained that it is city water, and in years of a drought, this can happen. That’s too bad as it did make the experience so much less enjoyable, but other than that, we really enjoyed the trip and the lake area and the home. Hopefully the smelly water situation is just a rare occurrence and we had bad luck.

We felt welcomed immediately! The cabin was very inviting and the view of the lake amazing. There was 3 of us up in Isle for the RURAL music festival and this place was perfect for us. The beds were very comfy, kitchen stocked with all the dish necessities and communication with Tim was easy as he was reachable by text. We had an amazing stay!!

The host was incredibly generous with their property and toys for the water, kayaks, SUP, life jackets galor! Tons of fun to be had! Great location on the water with a dock to tie up our boat. The host was great with communication and incredibly timely responses! They also provided plenty of inside entertainment as well! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the movies and games, and so did the adults! They ensured a great stay for out family

Very thoughtful host kept items well stocked and clean. Cabin was in a convenient location to run to town, go to nearby state park, and sheltered from the big waves of the lake. Spacious yard to play games, and plenty of parking onsite.

We are so happy we chose to stay here! The house was very spacious and the property was beautiful with a nice big yard and wonderful views of the lake. We also enjoyed having Father Hennepin State Park right next door. They have a big sandy beach with sand volleyball and a breathtaking view of Lake Mille Lacs. Tim was a great host! He was always quick to reply and very helpful with any questions we had! The only reason I give it a 4 star is because of the smell of the tap water. It made taking a shower a little unenjoyable but it definitely wouldn't keep us from staying here again someday. Thank you Tim for sharing your beautiful lake house with us!!!

The only down fall is all the steps. We are a bunch of older gals, some with knee issues. Still enjoyed our stay.

For what we paid it was ok at best, the water stinks bad and the windows were so dirty you could not get a clear view. because of the style of heating and air conditioning one room was cold the others were warm. Duct tape holding some of the screen room windows in. For me the two flights of stairs were disappointing had to have others carry my bag up the steps.

Amazing house, amazing property, amazing owner. Owner was fabulous to work with. My sister's family and mine go on vacation every year together. This was by far our most favorite house. Can't wait to go back.

Our family rented the property for a second time, and like the first, our stay was tops. Tim thinks of everything. The house on Mille Lacs is a wonderful place to relax and reconnect with family and friends. Highly recommend!

Overall the property was nice. Best part of the property were the neighbors on both sides. We were told he would supply all firewood. After one night we were out of wood. Had to buy wood from kind neighbor Paul for $60. 3rd night ran out of propane for flattop griddle. Spare bottle provided had a bad valve. Had to go into town to exchange tank. Costing $28. Property owner said he would reimburse and now 2 weeks later says he won’t pay until we give a good review. I guess I can live without the $28.

Very nice, well-equipped lakefront home with a beautiful view. Our host was very accommodating and easy to reach when needed. We would definitely stay here again.

My family & I had a wonderful time here as there was so much to do for our 8 night stay between kayaking, paddle board, bike, walk, simply relax on the awesome patio with the beautiful lake view, etc. The house was equipped with what we needed. We would certainly stay here again!

Wonderful property in Isle, MN…just steps away from Father Hennepin State park. We had a great stay at this well equipped home. I say “home” because it felt just like that…like home. Tim has thought of everything. All you need to do is bring your suitcases. Grocery store down the block, and lake in the backyard. We had beautiful weather. The trees were just a little past peak but still full of color. We could watch fishermen and hunters from the living room while we had our morning coffee. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tim. We will be back!

The home is located in a beautiful area on the lake close to the state park. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We took long walks daily to the park and grocery store. Tim was the best. He was so kind and communication was great. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed!

The property is at the far south end of Mill Lacs Lake in a nice cove that is good for kayaking. The house has all amenities needed and clean. Check-in and -out was hassle free. Proximity to Isle made the stay convenient. Unfortunately, we did not realize how large Mill Lacs Lake is and had to travel to many family events on the north side of the lake, which took over 30 minutes. Great location if your events are on the south side of the lake.

We had a wonderful time! The kids and adults enjoyed the old school video games so much that we had tournaments. The lake was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed access to kayaking and paddle boarding. My family especially loved the shuffle board! Tim was very responsive with all my questions and the neighbors were very friendly. All in all it was a wonderful family vacation to celebrate the last days of summer before heading back to school.

We are working on starting a new Family Tradition to book a cabin for the 9 of us each summer. This was a get cabin that fit us all and was well stocked with everything. Linens, dishes, and even 2 kayaks and a paddleboard and every size life jacket you could ever think of. Tim is a great host! I would highly recommend a stay with him.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. There was lots to do including outdoor shuffle board, kayaks, paddle boards etc. The house had plenty of room for all 8 of us. The kitchen was fully equipped. I usually bring some of my own stuff, but there was no need this time. We rented a boat from Castle Resort. Lots of fun with family was had! I highly recommend renting this property. We will certainly do so if ever in the area again!

Great place for the family!
We loved our time spent here. As a parent of a small child I really appreciated the blackout curtains downstairs! Everything was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed that we were close to a supermarket and a few restaurants. We loved everything about this place. Our son found a big bear in one of the bedrooms that became his favorite item. Our only regret was that the beautiful sunroom was a little too warm for us to sit in and enjoy in the July heat. We would definitely stay again though!

House was spotless and well maintained. Kitchen was well equipped as was the wet bar. Smart tv worked great. Lawn was nice green and lush great for the kids to run and play barefoot. Fire pit was great. Some wood was provided but also neighbor sells cut fire wood. Boat house had life jackets of all sizes. 2 kayaks and a paddle board. Dock was in great condition with a nice sized landing at the end. We docked our pontoon at all week. Entrance to water a bit rocky but then it’s nice and sandy. Water was nice and clear. Caught a couple fish from the dock.

The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful! Great place-fantastic location, well-maintained, and very clean. Close to town and boat launches. We enjoyed having our boats docked at the house and fishing off the dock was fun for our kids. House is well-stocked with everything you’ll need! Great place!

We had a nice time staying at this property. Enough room to park two boat trailers. Dock was great. It is located on the southside in a cove, so you don't get the crazy winds. Walking distance to town. Host was prompt and helpful! The house had everything we needed. Stocked well!
