Two wrong cancellations. Also canceled vbro during our stay to keep us from being able to complain s no maintenance help Loud clicking all night with zero remedy or help. Horrific customer service. The owners have a beautiful property but horrid property management. Even the dates above are incorrect. I stayed the 15th through the 18th. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT “company”. Who doesn’t allow you to check in till 4pm but requires you to check out at 9am? These people.

We loved the property! Besides the door being opened when we arrived, along with sand on the counter, table and floors, we had a great stay. Loved the giant screen tv!

We really enjoyed our stay at Summerwind. The beach was wonderful, if crowded, and the condo was just as advertised. One elevator was being worked on part of the week, which was an inconvenience since we were o. The 12th floor. The kids loved the pool and hot tub.

We go to the beach in this area on an annual basis and always stay in beachfront condos. We love to fish and absolutely loved the location of this resort (right next to the longest fishing pier in the gulf)! However, and a BIG however, we were SO very disappointed to arrive to horrible, extremely loud construction noise and a closed balcony!! No where in the listing was this disclosed or even mentioned of. When we called the property manager, we were told this was a fault of VRBO (for not disclosing known renovations), and then when we called VRBO, we were told the property owner/manager (or whoever it was that created the listing on VRBO) was soley responsible for the property description, as VRBO has a strict policy in not ammending listings. So we call the property manager back, only to be met with an unbelievable attitude and a "you should've checked the property's main website," despite the fact we booked through VRBO and very extensively reviewed the listing THEY crafted. At that point we went to the property website and still had an extremely hard time finding anything at all about such major renovations that were known about about by property owners. You literally had to dig to find a little snippet about it. Anyway, their offer to rectify things was to try and find us a single HOTEL room (mind you the codo we rented was a 3 bedroom), and it wouldn't be beachfront!! Of course we declined. We were simply disgusted with the customer service and lack of transparency.

This has to be the absolute worse place we've ever stayed. It started with being locked out of the unit for over two hours while the managing company tried to figure out how to get us back in and it just continued to worsen from there. The floors were dirty with sand, dirt, and dust. The sheets in the guest room were inside out (were they really clean or just flipped???), and master bedroom sheets were sandy. The kitchen was roach infested. Every time we would try to cook something in the kitchen, we were killing small roaches. The kitchen utensils were still dirty with food... As much as we love Navarre Beach and staying at Summerwind Resort, we will never stay here again nor recommend to anyone.

Everything was great except for the fact that we could not access balcony for entire visit. I am all about upkeep and maintenance, but the project was obviously already planned and wasn't divulged until after reservation was made and non refundable deposit was submitted. There is a clause in contract that mentions construction, but company should make customers aware if there is one already planned. This would have been a deal breaker for my family. Our view was cables and ropes in front of beautiful beach. Kitchen had roach problem, but was minor to us versus the balcony issue. We were not provided the correct number of wrist bands or any parking passes. When i called, the representatives were very nice, but unable to help us due to HOA being over construction project. We were able to obtain parking pass on the last day. As someone who’s been in customer service my entire career, i would have went about things differently and informed customer of plans and made sure they were taken care of. We made good memories at the beach, but very disappointed with balcony issue.
