We enjoyed the neighborhood, very quiet residential area.Friendly neighbors,dock for our boat.We enjoyed the outside deck and the screened porch.Lots to do weather travel by boat or car.Great local resturants,many state parks near by!Jody is a very welcoming host,fresh homemade cookies,wine and snacks to enjoy!!

Very peaceful area. Very serene sitting on the patio watching the water in the canal. Tastefully decorated 2 BR/2 BA with a large screened patio. Jody was a very gracious hostess. Had cookies waiting for us when we arrived and provided all the amenities including a hair dryer.

This was a great property. Jody met with us at check in and went through the home with us. The villa had EVERYTHING you would need for a relaxing vacation. Nice covered boat dock area, plenty of outdoor space and a great screened in porch area. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely well stocked with everything you would need, basically all you need to bring is your groceries. Jody meet us at the door and showed us everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Astor. The accommodations were great and exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient for boating to the springs. The house was well equivalent and clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing pool on the screened porch. Everyone loved it. Thank you so much.

My husband and I stayed in the villa for three awesome days! We used the Butler st ramp to get our boat over to the villa and it stayed there during our trip which was super convenient. The boat ride to the springs was about a 25 minute ride. The villa was super clean and very nice, it had everything we needed. Bob and Jody were very nice and very helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet. We will be staying again!

By far best experience we’ve had with vacation rentals. The property is beautiful. Everything was great. Lots of personal touches. Everything was perfect.

I can't say enough about how much my wife and I enjoy staying in this quaint villa in Astor. This was our second time staying at this property for a reason. Jody and Bob, the owners, are truly fantastic hosts. The little things Jody does to make the stay special go a long way. The dock is also in great shape and you can catch fish right off the back deck. Perfect spot for a get-away!

From every point of view, we had a great month-long visit and hope to return. Many thoughtful, attractive, comfortable touches throughout the villa and on the lanai. Watching the fishing boats go by was a favorite pastime. Jody and Bob were very welcoming and helpful hosts.

The hostess was wonderful she made the villa like home. Very clean and cozy. She went above and beyond. Very quite and peaceful. Would go back. Left lots of goodies.

Property was peaceful and adequate for our fall weekend stay. Astor unfortunately keeps losing its heyday luster as businesses age in appearance and strive to remain operational but then the area really is just a basic "fish camp". It's not fashioned for the "hoity toitys". This neighborhood and home are quite old, but owner has attempted to provide welcoming and nice accommodations for couples or those with older children and fur friends wanting to stay at a canal waterfront property. (One safety suggestion is installation of a ladder if a misstep lands a guest or pet in the waterside walled canal.) We enjoyed use of the dock for our watercraft and waterside grilling and dining. Kitchen was surprisingly well appointed with everything you might need for cooking meals at home. Beds and linens were comfortable, but inside seating for lounging and dining were not. Low water pressure and loose hot water nozzle in updated master shower and toilet heights better suited for small children. Other safety issues are varied height of riser entry steps at all access points and no handrails available along with brick walkway to front entrance having several toe grabbing trippers and rotten wood trim with exposed spikes. Siding of house, window shutters, and walkway leading to entrance in ad photo are covered with green and black mildew. These safety and questionable items are cause for my 2star overall rating.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Jody was friendly and welcoming. She even greeted us with home baked cookies when we arrived! Highly recommend for anyone looking in this area.

My husband and I fish in Florida every year. This year we changed the season and location. Very quiet neighborhood. Very clean home. The property description is spot on. Beautiful place. Thoughtfully equipped and stocked and we got bonus homemade cookies and a few little extras. The home is great. We will definitely go back.

We had a great stay. Jody met us when we arrived. It was myself and 2 daughters 5 and 10 and our dog. The house was very clean and organized. Lots of games for us to play as a family. We also brought our boat to visit the springs near by. Jody gave us rides so my truck and trailer wouldn’t have to stay at the ramp . The dock and boat house where great and a perfect set up . We will be back again many times. Definitely 5 stars all around.

When we arrived at the home we found it very clean and well decorated. All the necessary equipment was available. The Hosts Jody & Bob live next door and are very nice. They met us there with the keys and explained how the electronics worked in the living room and where everything is located. Jody even baked some cookies which were very good. The only disappointment was that the TV in the second bedroom was not connected to any media source so we were unable to use it. Everything else was very nice, very clean and we definitely will be back.

We had a great time hanging out by the water. Next time we will plan to stay longer to explore all the fun stuff on the river.

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary staying here. It was very updated with a cute decor. Loved having access to our boat right outside and enjoyed fishing off of the dock! Will be staying here again!
