Can’t say enough about this home. Such a perfect house, location and vacation. House has everything you need (we traveled with my 3 young children and our in laws). Can’t wait to go again!

I couldn’t recommend this property more. Sonnette was very communicative. It was the perfect layout for two families with two young children each. There are blackout curtains in every bedroom, a crib, potty seats on many of the toilets and lots of thoughtful convenient things for children and adults. They had a well-stocked kitchen and two outdoor showers. Plenty of hooks everywhere for towels and bathing suits. The pool was clean and the walk to the beach was so convenient since we were back and forth a lot with the little ones. We can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed every minute at this amazing beachfront home. The views are spectacular. The house was clean and there was room for everyone to spread out and relax. The walk to the beach is literally just a few steps. Our group also loved the pool, especially the kids! We will definitely be back. :)

Our family had a wonderful family vacation at this property! We have been going on family vacations for almost 10 years and this might be the BEST property we've ever stayed at. From the time we arrived until we left, we were so pleased! The kitchen was SO adequately stocked with everything, the house was clean and beautiful, the beds were SO comfortable, the pool was great, beach was so close.....I just can't go on to say how much we enjoyed it. We went to a couple of great restaurants, also very close, that had been recommended by the owner. Also went to the Serpentarium with our family which was well worth it, if you are interested, also very close to the house! Can't say enough about this nice property. I would highly recommend it. This property was meticulously maintained and a perfect layout for our 3 generation family. The ocean views were spectacular and the house was fully equipped to meet our family’s needs. The location was private and quiet! Being able to enjoy such a beautiful pool made the vacation complete! Sonette is an excellent communicator and a host!

We have stayed all up and down the North Carolina and South Carolina coast for nearly 40 years, and this has to be one of the nicest houses we’ve ever rented. We had a multi-generation family of 10, and everyone loved it. Checkin and checkout were easy, and the house was spotlessly clean. “It’s About Time” is brand new - as in built in 2021 - not just remodeled. That means the floor plan is excellent, appliances are nice, bathrooms are spacious, there are outlets and USB plugs everywhere, and water pressure is outstanding (even in the 2 beach showers under the house). The entire house was so well stocked. The kitchen had tons of every plate, cup, bowl, silverware, and utensil needed - even things like a huge pot for a low country boil, a lemon/lime press, tons of Tupperware for leftovers, etc. They also had 6+ quality beach chairs and tons of pool and beach toys. We would have honestly packed much less if we knew how much was here. The kids area also had so many games, puzzles, and books for different ages. We are past the baby stage, but the crib setup in one of the upstairs rooms was much nicer than a basic pack-n-play. Communication with Sonnette was easy and informative, and there was tons of useful information shared in advance and in the book and signs throughout the house. The final thing I’d add is the pool / beach setup is perfect on this house. You are literally 25-30 steps from the property to where you set up beach chairs for the day. When the waves got a little rough or sun got too hot, part of our group went back to the pool to float and relax. It is a spectacular house all around, and we’ve already told multiple people about it.

The house was in perfect condition and has everything you could possibly need…fully stocked kitchen supplies, books for beach reading, children’s toys, and family games. We had multiple people working remotely for parts of the trip and Internet worked great. The island is a little off the beaten path, not a ton of restaurants, but we really liked the Briny Swine and Ella & Ollies. And you can’t beat the beach access and sun rise views from the deck. Overall it was a great, relaxing vacation!

The pictures online do not do this place justice! Beautiful and comfortable with super easy access to the beach. The elevator was great for my elderly parents and bringing our luggage upstairs. Room for everyone, great porch for sunrises and a well-stocked kitchen.

The house was amazing!! The elevator had some "hiccups" (doors were sensitive), but for the most part worked correctly. The pool was perfect, especially for laps and exercises. The owner quickly walked us through an elevator problem when we called her. Wish we could live there!! Superior house and location. Thank you, Sonette!

This home is stunning. The owners thought of EVERYTHING to make it a very enjoyable, comfortable beach trip. Very thoughtful touches throughout. Excellent cookware, and all cooking utensils were great quality. They had it all- great serveware, loads of silverware, platters, mixing bowls, array of spoons, spatulas, you name it, they had it! Having a 2nd Refrigerator in the pantry/laundry room was an extra special touch- great for a family of 9! Lots of beverages to keep cold! The bedding and the bath towels are incredible, in fact we are ordering some for our own home! You will not want to leave once you set foot in this amazing home!
