Stayed for a long weekend to visit the Porcupine Mountains and had an amazing stay. Check in/out was easy and straightforward and we were quite comfy and had everything we needed during our stay. The extremely well-equipped kitchen was a real highlight - truly everything you need to prepare meals. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent place to stay! Clean and comfortable. So many items already there that you need. Especially in the kitchen. Sitting outside by the lake is the best bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at Troy & Emily's place. The kitchen was stocked to the brim with everything we could have needed. It was very clean and laid out well. We enjoyed our evenings by the fire and playing some of the board games provided. We would recommend this place to others looking to go to that area.

Our stay at this cottage was wonderful! The cottage is beautiful, very clean and was fully stocked with anything we could think of to need. We enjoyed a week of swimming, kayaking and fishing. It was a great location for several day trips to surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again! Emily was great to work with on this rental.

We had an awesome time staying at this cottage. It included everything you need to feel like you are at home and more! Cottage was immaculate and very comfortable. Easy walk to the shore. The walk into the water is rocky with a few bigger rocks. Our youngest is 3 1/2 years old and was able to walk out with puddle jumpers and not hurt herself when she tripped over rocks farther out where you can’t see the bottom. Definitely recommend going over to sandy point where it is a sandy bottom and shallow water to swim in. Cottage owners are very responsive and wonderful to deal with!

The Deerwood Cabin on Lake Gogebic is a great place to stay for a snowmobile trip. We had 8 total people and there was plenty of space. We had 4 trucks with trailers and they fit no problem. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to the lake and snowmobile trails.

We have stayed here two years in a row and plan to stay here again next year. Everything you could ask for in a property. Super clean, well stocked with lots of extras, and a great central home base to go snowmobiling in any direction you want depending on snow conditions.

This property is in a quiet community with fantastic views of and great access to Lake Gogebic. The cabin is clean and cozy with all the amenities. If we are ever back in the area we would definately rent this property again.

This place had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked. The whole place was extremely clean. Plenty of wood for fires. Lots of games. We would definitely come here again.

Wonderful property, great hospitality
We love Lake Gogebic and visit every summer. Deerwood Cabin was simply great- our new favorite place to stay! The cabin was beautiful, clean and set up with everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is private, large deck, great dock. We fished, kayaked and swam- and the great location also made it easy to take a few day trips to Minoqua and Boulder Junction, the Porcupine Mts, and Ontonogan/Lake Superior. Great hosts, easy to work with. The care they have shown with the property and amenities made us feel so welcomed.

Great Vacation Spot
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and everything about our stay at the cabin was excellent. Couldn't have had a nicer vacation. Everything we need is there. Especially appreciated the electric boat lift with remote control. Nice upgrade!

Emily was a pleasure to deal with. Visited with a couple of maintenance staff and they were very pleasant also. Cabin was perfect and the location is close to the trails.

The house was amazing! Being right on the lake made it easy for going out ice fishing and when we came in for lunch. It was everything I could have wanted and then some, beautiful view, clean cozy house, the perfect getaway for a fishing trip.

Snowmobile Trip
Cabin was even better than advertised. Super clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was stocked with lots of extras. Beds and furniture were all very comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of towels. Great centralized place for snowmobiling. Pick a direction and ride. Lots of good places on the lake for food and drinks. Emily was great to work with and does an excellent job making sure you have everything you need and more. Will be back for sure.
