First I thought we were staying in Brigantine, I put that in my search. When we got there we were definitely not in Brigantine, its Atlantic City. However, the place was very clean, but the check in process was terrible. I never got an email from the host who is not the host, its a management company. When I called the number, no one answered. So i sent a message in the VRBO app, about hour before check in. NO RESPONSE. 2 calls and 2 emails later, I had to call,for the first time ever since being a VRBO traveler, the VRBO help desk. The woman was very nice, helped us to finally get in touch with the management company. They stated they sent email with instructions, but I never received. I also inquired that its a VRBO rule that the host must answer back within a certain time when a message sent through app, the VRBO rep did agree but I never got any response until after I called VRBO. Again the house was clean, but the alarm did not work and the only TV in the house had no working batteries. So we had to call the next day because by the time we figured this out it was late and we were exhausted. They wanted to spend the time to fix the alarm..clearly not how we want to spend vacation, so we decided to not do it. And it took them so long to get the batteries we had to buy a set and did it before they ever came back. These are things they should stock in the house..even if locked closed light bulbs, batteries, stuff like that. But overall they were very nice and accomodating.

The property was perfect for our purpose of 3 couples spending New Year's weekend together. It was very close to the boardwalk (less than a 10 minute drive). The dining area provided a place for us to eat and play games together. The only negative was 2/3 bedrooms are small, the leather couches were worn with splits on the seating area, the master bathroom toilet seat appeared to have been painted at some point and the paint was peeling which made sitting on the seat unattractive. A few other minor wear and tears that I think should and could be addressed quickly prior to a guest staying. Other than that, I still give it a 5 star for the price we paid.

We enjoyed our stay

We stayed in the property for the weekend and it was a pleasent family vacation. The location is nice (just a couple of blocks away from the boardwalk). House was clean and well organised. We had kids and they felt quite at home when we reached there. Overall, it was a nice experience staying in the property and we look forward to book this property again in future. Location was exactly what we were looking for. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was a short uber away to anywhere you wanted to go (casino/boardwalk/nearby resturants etc)
