The property was clean and provided everything we needed for our trip to be a success. The host was extremely accommodating and we will definitely be back. The views were amazing and I couldn’t be happier.

We LOVED everything about this place. It rained quite a bit during our stay and the pool table, poker table, foosball, arcade games and hot tub provided plenty of fun. Despite ample warning to keep our car doors locked, we left them unlocked briefly while cleaning out the car and found a bear inside! A very nice police officer came to our rescue. I was able to get to the chalet in my little two wheel drive Kia Soul and park with no problem. The location is great. It was super clean and had plenty of starter items. Hosts very responsive. Clear documentation. We wanted for nothing. We were sad to leave!

The view of Gatlinburg & the Great Smoky Mountains cannot be beat! The drive up is a little intimidating at first but you quickly acclimate-the directions from the host are the best approach. Their were some small issues but the host was very responsive. Plenty of indoor activities & we loved soaking in the jacuzzi every night-it was easy to use & access. The kitchen had plenty of dishes & cookware but we missed the email about bringing our own coffee. Be very bear aware. We saw bears EVERY DAY. They were easily diverted but surprisingly everywhere! You’ll want to keep the gates closed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Everything we needed for a great family vacation. We saw bears every day so do take all precautions with securing your garbage and personal effects. Truly a lovely and comfortable cabin. Very close to ober gatlinburg which was great fun for all. Easy to downtown and convenient access to national park and bypass to pigeon forge attractions.

If you like mountains-this property is a must. Located on Ober Mountain! The views were incredible! We were lucky to see a mama-bear and 4 cubs the first day we came! The owner Chris was very responsive to the questions we had which I appreciated!

The view from the cabin is lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the balconies, grilling, soaking in the hot tub, etc. We did have to keep a close watch for bears though. We had at least one, sometimes two bear sightings each day very close to the cabin. We were glad we took bear spray but happily didn’t have to use it. The cabin met our needs and had ample space for 6 adults (3 couples) and 3 small children. We cooked most of our meals at the cabin and there were plenty of dishes, pans, utensils etc for our needs. We enjoyed using the game rooms, including billiards, arcade games, etc. The host was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. I would consider this nice overall, (more like cozy/ rustic rather than luxury). Overall, we had a wonderful time, and also enjoyed our time exploring Gatlinsburg & Pigeon Forge.

It was an amazing experience. The cabin was beautiful and all age ranges from 11 to 39 enjoyed the stay. The hosts had all my questions answered before I even asked them. Check in and check out process was as easy as one could imagine! Great view and so much to do we should have stayed another week! I give my highest recommendation for this cabin and the hosts to anyone else looking to find a getaway from it all with family or friends.

Communication was excellent but the property doesn't match the description and pictures are a bit misleading. In our opinion, this listing accommodates only six adults comfortably. Finishes need some TLC. We did have some bear friends come visit on the deck - three cubs with momma bear watching from nearby!

We had a wonderful weeklong stay. The property was comfortable and had beautiful views! The owners were very responsive and were able to immediately help us with a little issue we had. We would stay here again and absolutely recommend to others.

We rented this cabin for Easter. The view is amazing and we saw a mama bear and her three cubs! The cabin is very cozy and fit our family of 8 very comfortably. The owner was in contact and very informative. Definitely use the owners directions and not your GPS your very close to Ober and the road can be a bit stressful if you don’t. We would definitely rent this cabin again

Only thing I could recommend to make it even better is a more comfortable bed in the downstairs room.

We loved our family getaway to the Smoky Mountains! We checked in promptly at 4:00 as soon as the door unlocked. 3 families of us unloaded our belongings and settled in on each floor. The cabin was a bit cozier than we envisioned but we enjoyed the togetherness throughout the week. The kitchen space was a bit tight but we assigned a family to cook and clean up each night that we ate at “home” and it worked out well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our family style dinners, chicken and steak on the grill to fish sticks in the oven for the children etc. The main floor bedrooms were also cozy with just enough room for our luggage and overflow food for our stay. Upstairs housed our daughter, her husband and their 3 week old daughter with plenty of room. Their 3 yr old son stayed in the bunk room just outside the master. The lower level was used by another daughter, her husband and their two small children. It was a bit close but they made it work with their pack and play beds for the kids. That room had the tub/shower which worked well for them. (We brought gates to use on the staircases) Having the small children napping/sleeping on the upper and lower levels limited our game time but my son in law did whip me in a foosball game one evening and my husband and son in law played a pretty serious game of pool one afternoon, so fun was had by all. We had many bear experiences! The first night a bear entered one of our vehicles which was accidentally unlocked!! No damage was done, just mud on the seats and the door left open. Two times they came onto the deck while we were eating. We scrambled fast getting the children and food into the chalet quickly, our hearts beating fast. Needless to say we didn’t eat on the deck again and had a sentry posted on look out while grilling! We took the bear seriously as we were visiting their territory. Even had a mama and her 2 cubs wander through one morning as we were loading up to leave for the day. The kids loved seeing the gondola go by and announced it each time it went up or down! We had a great adventure over the week and made special memories with our children and grandchildren. Thank you Chris for sharing your home with us. It is a gorgeous location.

Mountain Bearadise was everything that we had hoped it would be. An excellent cabin for my family to visit, relax and enjoy our short trip to the area. The view from the deck is absolutely spectacular. The owners were quick to respond the one time we had questions. Really can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our trip our stay in this great cabin.

Within an hour of arriving at the cabin we saw a momma bear and her cub. It came right up to the cabin. The view looking down on gatlinburb was memorable and the Ober tram going over was an added perk. I thought the drive up wasn't difficult at all. The cabin itself was perfect for us. We played cards downstairs at night. Would definitely come back.

We had an awesome time at Bearadise Cabin. It had pots pans silverware etc already which was a plus! We had a bear get in my brothers car due to him not locking it😂 we seen bears every night we was there. I will say the stairs are steep though so anyone with small children bring baby gates other than that it was a 5 star luxury Cabin!

We couldn’t have been more impressed with the accommodations! The property is just as described in the listing - clean, spacious, spectacular views, and all of the amenities we could ask for. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 3 children- ages 6, 10, and 13. There was something for everyone! The kids loved the pools, arcade games, board games, watching the Ober Tram passengers wave to us on their way down the mountain, and we all enjoyed the hot tub! The cabin provided more than enough room for all of us and could’ve easily and comfortably accommodated an even larger group. We appreciated the attention to detail and safety with the multi-level decks having safety latches, and the motion sensing lights outside alerting us of the bears! The decks had plenty of seating for our group to lounge and/or enjoy meals together during our stay. The view of Gatlinburg at night is breathtaking! We’ve already referred several people, and will definitely be booking this property again. If I could give the cabin and the owners 10 stars, I would! Thank you for exceeding our expectations, and we look forward to coming back soon!

An excellent space and layout to get together and have some quality family time. So clean and hassle free booking and access. The view off the back deck is a destination in itself! You won't regret your decision to stay here, we sure don't!

Let me start by saying that the hosts of this property were wonderful. They quickly and extensively answered several questions I had before our stay and helped us problem solve a few things. The only reason I gave a couple of 4’a in my review is that the photos make the chalet seem a bit bigger than it was in reality, and there were a few things in the outdoor area that could have been cleaned better. Overall, it was a nice home in a great location with very accommodating hosts!

Thank you for the great stay. We enjoyed all of the extras (jacuzzi, pool table, cooking was easy). The view was super beautiful. We easily got up and down the mountain.

Cabin is well stocked with all your needs. We had 6 adults and 3 children and had plenty of room to spread out. The view of Gatlinburg is spectacular!

This cabin was perfect for our group of 10. The location and view gives this cabin 5 stars just itself. Maybe 7-10 minutes to Gatlinburg and even closer to Ober! The view of downtown Gatlinburg was amazing. We even got a little snow while here and it was just beautiful. Chris was very attentive, the only issue we had was a pilot light in the fireplace going out and maintaince was out within an hour to fix it. We would definitely book this cabin again.
