Stayed here for the second time while having to leave Peru due to the political situation. Felt very safe, would hide here again.

One shared bathroom per floor isn't quite enough.

This is my 2nd stay at Selina. I chose the Posada location this time because I had already stayed at the Miraflores location. This location is much quieter but its honestly a one minute walk to the main building. The staff is the same as the other building. So many great food places on the street. I really love it and never want to leave! The shared bathroom is cleaned multiple times a day and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to share. The coworking space is great and I went to an amazing Spanish class. Love love love this place!

very central - the room was clean and cosy. the shared bathroom was well maintained and clean. the facilities were great and the staff were lovely.

We stayed in a double room without bathroom but there didn’t seem to be many others on the floor so felt like we had the bathroom to ourselves. Can see how it could get busy in high season as only one bathroom with toilet and shower. The hostel offer an airport pick up which is good (€22).

The extras and items from the shop are priced in dollars and very expensive so would recommend going to local supermarkets for water etc. There isn’t really anywhere to chill out apart from in the bar downstairs but pressure to buy drinks from the bar.

The hostel was great. The welcome drinks, the many activities they offered, the amazing breakfast options. The common spaces were very nice and clean, and there were so many! We were also lucky enough to have our room right next to the bathroom, so even if we shared it, it felt as if it was our own (but we did not occupy it as if it was our own of course! It was simply nice and easy to access)

There was no heating option in the room we stayed in, therefore it was a bit too cold for us.

Staff, location, breakfast are all excellent. Have stayed multiple times. Will be back again. And Will return next year ;-)) Benjamin loved his dog bed. Two Paws Up Muchas gracias a to-dos.

Nice room and really comfy beds - really nice breakfast as well

One bathroom (with one shower and one toilet) to share between at least 13 people (counting all rooms and dorms) is ridiculous. There should be at least 2 toilets and 2 showers when you’re paying these expensive rates. We ended up having to wait every morning and evening just to go to the loo. Also services like laundry are well over priced.

the windows were thin and the street was noisy, bright room

comfy beds, good facilities (had everything we needed), lots of good food spots around,

great atmosphere and the room was really nice and comfortable

it was on the main road which made it noisy and also could hear the noise from the other people on the floor slamming doors.

The double room is big with a comfortable bed. The location is really good and the people working there are nice.

Unfortunately we went in winter and for some reason in our room the windows, when closed, were leaving an open gap so it was quite cold, even that the receptionist gave us an electric heater wasnt enpugh. Also the shared toilet can be annoying, I dont know how many rooms share 1 toilet.

Bed was very comfy, quality bed sheets and pillows. Besides, location is great. These are all pro's.

My first time at Selina's (being a Digital Nomad for almost a decade), after hearing so much about it. Pure disappointment. The coworking space is not even in the same building and even for paying guests at the hostal, NOT INCLUDED (US$ 10 extra charge). When paying in the local currency (Soles), they will use a ridiculous exchange rate (even worse than the airport rip-off cambios), which ends up you'll pay +7% on top of your fare (compared to what my bank has charged me for my ATM money withdrawl 2 hours before). This is just crazy and fully inacceptable (S/. 110 instead of S./ 103 => +7%). Just one bathroom for 7 or 8 rooms, don't remember exactly (been at floor 4). Window is not closing properly, so a lot of noise coming in from the outside. Careful light sleepers. Being at a coworking hostel, I've expected nothing but the fastest possible Wi-Fi in whole Peru. They have a 12 Mbit/s connection for hostel guests (don't know what situation at the other building is, where you have to pay US$ 10 for the coworking space). 12 MBit/s... sorry, but... After all - my first Selina experience will definitely be my last.
