The Wi-Fi code was not provided for the first night despite repeated phone and email request which totally messed up my work plans. No acknowledgement of receipt of requests for this or a simple apology. No response and action taken to address microwave that didn’t work which messed up all my eating and working plans. Plates only provided on 2nd day. Extremely poor communication. Damp all over ceiling and walls. Smelt like room’s been used for smoking for years. Think the flat must have been run by a bot.

Decent bathroom and the location was great for the town centre.

The property is on the 6th floor of a high rise building which is not stated anywhere and the lifts do not work. The stairway is very dirty leading up to the apartment and there is broken windows. The apartment is sold as a one bedroom apartment but in fact is a studio. It is classed as a modern apartment but the only things modern about it are the bathroom and the kitchen area really. Furniture is shabby and the flooring is in need of attention, there is holes in the wall and not to mention the damp water marks on the ceiling. There is one small window that you can see out of and not enough ventilation. The building is situated on a very busy road where cars seem to race away at the lights and this goes on all night and sounds very noisy even 6 floors up. The bed is pushed up right against the wall and gives the impression of student accommodation with a wardrobe that is falling apart. We were told with 2 days before arrival that the lifts weren’t working and they would not give us a discount. This did not give us enough time to find alternative accommodation in the right location. Having looked at reviews since, the lifts have been out of order for a while but I think that they should really be upfront and honest about this before offering this accommodation. All in all not a very nice building or apartment although it is located in a useful area but certainly would never stay there again!!

Lifts were broken and we were on the 6th floor. No notification of this when we booked. The stairs on the way to our room were covered in faeces, a pile of rubbish on the stairs had a note on 'whoever did this I hope you and your family dies', windows were boarded up and the smell was disgusting. Our room had mould around the window, water stains on much of the ceiling, mouldy food in a cupboard, food splashes in kitchen area, and hair, fluff and crumbs on the floor. This whole experience was very unpleasant and at times I felt unsafe entering and exiting the property.

Nothing to like except the agent was helpful and found us another apartment but we eventually decided to return to London as the sleeping arrangements were unsuitable.

Apartment on 7th floor and no elevators working. I am 80 years old and had to carry luggage to the 7th Floor! Key lock code didn't work and couldn't get into the room! Should not be offered through Airbnb!

Location in Maidstone ideal but the tower block it was in was disgusting. Fag buts and stunk off piss all the way up the stairs.

Mould on windows, large water stain on ceiling, room absolutely stunk, dirty walls and shower, bed uncomfy and smelly bedding, Internet didn't work, most TV channels neither. Hairs in sink. Left over food in cuboards. Could go on forever with faults. Couldn't get anywhere else local to stayed so literally just used it as somewhere to get our heads down. .
