Was great as advertised. Of course pool was a big hit and some visitors we had didn’t want to get out. I have relatives already talking about renting it out next year!

Home was quite nice and easy to find. Loved the sand hill cranes that would visit daily. Easy to enter the home and bed was very comfortable. Overall the home was pretty clean but I did report to the owner that there were areas that the cleaners completely overlooked that should be addressed (ie previous renter spilled food under a table that wasn’t picked up; kitchen sponge left was clearly very old and used, filter water on fridge door was broken so had to buy water at the store). These things would not deter me from renting the home again - I believe they will be addressed by the owner who was very easy to contact. When I shared these things with the owner, she made no excuses for them - simply said she’d speak with the cleaners to address - and I also did not report them until I’d checked out ( I had a very fast trip so my focus was not on these things). My guess is she’d have done what she could to fix some/all issues if I’d reported them while there. The only other thing worth mentioning is that there is a pool vacuum that runs 24x7. It isn’t loud but it does get awkward when you want to use the pool. The house rules ask that the vacuum not be removed from the pool so I didn’t, but that should either be an option to remove/turn it off, or maybe just to make the renter aware before renting. It’s possible I missed that in the description so if I did, I apologize for my oversight. Overall nice home, quiet neighborhood, not in the hustle and bustle of the village of MD

We used this house as our launch pad for a week long visit to elder family members in Mt. Dora and Tavares. The space and layout were perfect for our big family and little kids who could sleep in the back bedrooms. By far, the best part was the grill and pool. We were in the pool every day and it was amazing!

My daughter and 12 year old granddaughter had a girls weekend to Mt. Dora. We chose this house because of the pool. Everything was very clean. The house was comfortable and cozy. Location was convenient to drive into Mt. Dora

The first thing we noticed was how clean the home was.The home is in a perfect location for grocery stores and restaurants. We all really enjoyed the pool on those hot summer Florida days, and with the pool being screened in you don't have to worry about and bugs. Good sized bedrooms too

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this very clean, well decorated home! We especially loved the homey feel and we all loved the pool! Patty was a fantastic host and very easy to reach! I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home!

Loved the home and the pool. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was just what we needed to prepare breakfasts (the only meal we ate in the home). Neighborhood was quiet and the location was close to town, restaurants and to Walmart. Definitely a great place to stay for our family.

This was a great home away from home as we prepared for our daughter's wedding. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Location was convenient for ceremony in Mt Dora and reception in Leesburg. Host was extremely helpful and responsive both before and throughout our stay. Would stay at this property again without hesitation.

Our son's wedding was in Tavares Florida and this was the perfect location. The house was neat and tidy just right for 8 of our family members. The pool was extra special to have and nice for relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet. Patty was really good with communication. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed.We were very happy with our stay!

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to stores. It was spacious and had multiple places to congregate and relax. The rooms were large and provided ample lighting and every closet had many hangers to use. The pool was a nice treat to cool us down after a hot day in town. The garage was very clean to play ping pong and had a washer and dryer which was convenient. At the end of the day there were many movies provided to entertain us. We would love to stay here again!

Very satisfactory. Very convenient to shopping, eating, and entertainment. Very clean, caged pool. Every amenity one could need including beach towels, local map, WiFi and BBQ grill. Central a/c which is important in FL. Very well equipped kitchen & dining. We did not eat out. Would certainly recommend.

We enjoyed this home. It was clean and comfortable for our stay and met our needs. The area is wonderful and safe. One recommendation would be to add some lighting to the pool area. We enjoyed sitting outside but the lighting was not adequate for evenings by the pool playing games. We had one issue while there and the owner responded quickly to our issue. Thanks for a great stay!!

The property was perfect for what we needed. Conveniently located near Mount Dora where we attended a dinner. What a fun little town! And the house has all that you need. Next to a super walmart too for all your needs. Thanks so much for a great stay.

The house was very clean and well supplied. The neighborhood was close to where we needed to be and convenient to amenities like Wal-Mart, Target, and a few fast food restaurants. Will stay here again. Thank you Patty and Ben!

I do not like writing negative reviews.....however Notified owners with photos about the dirty oven, fridge and freezer and pool area upon arrival. The response was WOW and that someone would be there to clean the pool. (not the oven or fridge) Further inspection revealed that the floors were filthy, when I spilled water and went to wipe it up....the last straw was the live roach in the cabinet while I was putting dishes away. I know Florida and dead critters mean extermination is working, LIVE, not so much! Owners were defensive and not helpful, we left the day after the roach incident and suggested they do a deep cleaning of the property. Buyer beware
