Our multi generational family ages 6-68 all had a wonderful time at this property. We caught lots of fish, enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. The swimming from the rocks and the dock was awesome . We enjoyed grilling lunch down on the dock . The house is 3 levels of living space, so we had lots of room to spread out. Loved this property!!

We had a family vacation and enjoyed the location and home. Nice dock for the grandchildren to swim off. Great furniture and “toys” near the dock. Great communication with the owner.

The property was perfect for our group of friends. Many places to gather and chat, well stocked kitchen for meals and drinks, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms all topped off with an amazing view of the lake.

Our family spent 5 days reconnecting together., the house was spacious and the views everywhere were amazing. Dock and lake were as described and more. The only thing that I would mention is there are dozens of steps down to the dock from the house.. maybe a consideration for the elderly or small children. Overall beautiful house in lovely community., would definitely rent again.

The view is amazing! You can go swimming right off the lower level by the dock. The outdoor grill on the dock was perfect for sitting by the water and relaxing. The size of the house was perfect for our group of 7. Just as an FYI, they do not rent boats or wave runners on this lake.

The location of the house was perfect! We could go swimming right off the dock. A magnificent view! House had everything you could need or want. Just an FYI if you want to rent a boat or wave runner, they don't rent them on that lake.

The house has everything you need. Both the indoor and outdoor kitchens were great especially because we had several cooks at the house. Lakefront property is beautiful. The only downside to the house is there are a lot of steps from house to the dock/ outdoor kitchen. And, we were not informed of the boating restrictions that had been in effect at least 2 weeks before we arrived (because of e-coli in the lake) until the day before we checked in. On check-in day we were told by the water safety patrol no swimming allowed in lake and at beaches.

The Hideout Oasis
We stayed at The Hideout for a much needed girls weekend away. When we arrived we were blown away by the beautiful views of Lake Ariel! We were truly in our own little Oasis. We enjoyed drinks by the Lake & cooked ourselves dinner both nights as we didn’t even want to leave the house to go out to dinner. The house slept 11 comfortably. We’re already planning our weekend away at The Hideout for next year! The owner is so kind and responsive and answered any questions we had. Truly a 10/10!!

I was so happy with this house. We had three families staying and we were all completely comfortable. Everything that you need is there. It was clean and felt homey. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had so much fun playing in the lake, visiting the pool and beach, golfing and having game nights.

Amazing vacation!
My friends and I stayed in this home over the past weekend and had an incredible time. This home is perfect if you're doing a stay with a large group like we did. Theres a ton of space, and lots of bedrooms to accommodate many people. It's also fully equipped with tons of appliances, kitchenware, and an entertainment system. But the real treat of this house is the private deck with direct access to the beautiful lake. It's perfect for swimming and has two entry points into the water (either jumping in from the dock, or walking in on the stone steps). The community that the home is located in also has tons of amenities and things to do (golf, tennis, beaches, pools, etc). But truthfully we just spent most of our time hanging out on the dock because we loved it so much. Barbra was also such a gracious host. She was incredibly flexible, accommodating, and easy to get a hold of throughout our stay. She provided very clear instructions and details about everything in the home, which we really appreciated. Her detailed emails and booklet in the house made check-in/check-out very easy, and also made our entire stay very relaxing and hassle free. I would highly recommend this home if you're looking for a great getaway!
