We loved the location, the view of the beautiful lake, the cleanliness of the property. We also loved that Maddie from Weekenda did try everything to help us with all of our issues. She went above and beyond to try and help us. Even organising an aircon technician. Thank you Maddie

We found the air conditioning had zero effect on cooling us at any point. It’s an old system and we felt no difference in temperature from outside to inside. One of our guests found it better to sleep on the back verandah. We also found our beds too hard. This was all disappointing due to the price point of this property We didn’t like that due to our circumstances of two of our guests battling cancer, was not enough to have any empathy towards trying to reschedule our dates. We know we had just entered our non cancellation period by one week, but felt that these were extenuating circumstances. One of these people decided to come as he’d finished treatment, yet was uncomfortable at the property with little relief from the heat. While downstairs did have a functional aircon, the musty smell was way too strong to be able to stay down there
