The place was clean and well stocked!

We had a great stay at this property. The house is a quick easy walk to the beach and easy golf cart ride to everything. We loved the large covered porch, screened in back deck, pretty pool area and nice furnishings throughout the house. We’d definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at the Pompano Pool House! Great house, awesome pool and close to the beach! Yard needed some attention. We wish Vacasa would have given us first option to rent again next year the same week, but it had already been rented. Stinks! Atwood used to give you that option before Vacasa took over.

Loved Pompano Pool House and already looking forward to next summer!! Beach access is convenient and the pool was a huge hit!! Great way to spend the afternoon after coming off the beach. The house was spacious, kitchen well equipped, roomy living room furniture where we could all relax together, and loved all the TVs in the bedrooms. Wish we had known ahead of time that there was no cable…no way to watch local channels without a streaming service. Overall, great week, great house!

The house was in good shape. It was clean and nice. There are only a couple of things that need addressed like a couple of the bathroom sinks must be clogged because they don't drain. But there are other sinks, so it is no big deal. The fridge is small so if you plan on cooking in, you may be grocery shopping a lot because you won't be able to load a lot of stuff in it. The only other thing I will warn anyone staying there, the beach access is close but it is also access that many people use. So it was packed on this part of the beach. Rent a golf cart and go to another beach access point and that will solve that problem. That has nothing to do with the house. The kitchen was clean and stocked. We have stayed at many many houses on Edisto and this was one of the cleaner ones. The beds were comfortable as well, which is a huge plus. It was a very pleasant stay.

We had 11 days on Edisto in this wonderfully located house that was very accommodating for the whole family.
The pool is a fabulous addition to the beach house..& being pet friendly we were able for our beloved fur-babes to join as well.
We had a great time making memories there.

Pompano Pool house was very convenient and addressed all the amenities one would need to ensure a great time. Close to the beach and the pool was clean. We enjoyed playing ping-pong and sitting on the rockers at night listening to the ocean. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Nice house and great location
This was our second stay at Pompano Pool House. We like the quiet location and the fenced area for dogs that is directly accessible from the back door. Overall, the house is in good condition. There are a few areas that need some maintenance but this is the nicest house we have stayed at on Edisto Beach.

Found this pet friendly house to accommodate 4 couples. Close beach access, kitchen is very well supplied. We were a little off season to use the pool, but wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this property again.

Beautiful, lots of space for all!
Large kitchen and living room. Lots of seating inside and out. We enjoyed the front porch and screened porch on the back. The pool was gorgeous too! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We have had very good experiences with Atwood. And this particular house was perfect for our family--husband and I, 2 kids, my mother, and two dogs. The house was clean, had all we needed in the kitchen, and had a small fenced area accessible from the back door where we could let out the dogs. This was very convenient so we didn't have to take the dogs out on leashes before bed. Location is great--very quiet and a short walk to the beach. Hope to return soon!

Hi - In spite of a few surprises, we enjoyed our stay and might consider renting this home again in the future. Thought you would want to know about a few things we found upon our arrival (PHOTOS were emailed to ):
The front master bedroom had a strange odor when we walked in. The next day we noticed pet stains on the dust ruffle (photo #2)
...also, the shower in the same bedroom was clogged so we tried the plunger. (Photo #1) shows what was pulled out of the drain.
We did not bring pets but obviously the previous occupant did bring a pet. A bag of pet waste was left next to the driveway (photo #3).
We noticed the sign stating “no pets in pool area” however there was a tennis ball left behind in the pine straw, next to the pool (photo #4).

Group Retreat
The house truly met the needs of the group, just make sure you have everything you need only store was a small Bi-Lo, closest Walmart or any other store at least an hour away. Nevertheless a great place to go to get away from it all

Enjoyed the week, problems with pool staying warm. Expensive to heat not to get your money worth.
Wonderful, house is in a great location, lots to do. Very spacious, great restaurants, love cruising around in the golf cart. Love Botany Bay. Only complaint is the expense of heating the pool and only enjoyed 3 days out of 6.
