This property is as described. Plenty of room for all of us. We each had our own rooms with plenty of seating in the common areas for everyone.
The house needs a little TLC but overall did not effect our trip at all. We had a issue during our stay and the owner was very quick to respond and have it fixed.
all in all was a great location and very spacious house. Would definitely stay again if we have a large group going.

We had an amazing time at this house. It was exactly as advertised and more! It is spacious for a large group and was equipped with all our needs. We especially loved the outdoor area. The owner and property manager were absolutely great.

We had a great time at this property, great location with lots to do and some great restaurants. The home was very comfortable and very much like home. It was very clean and the kids really enjoyed the pool and fishing. The pool was a great entertainment for the kids

This Marathon house was the perfect escape for our mixed group. We planned this trip for a birthday celebration and excuse to visit the Keys. The house had plenty of kitchen space for group meals and very close to grocery store. Fantastic restaurants nearby or fresh fish and lobster at local fish stands. All of the bedrooms exceeded expectations - everyone had plenty of space. We spent most of our time in the pool and backyard. Bring your fishing poles and a light to entice the fish off the back deck at night. We also brought a boat - the location was easy access to the Atlantic or gulf- we really enjoyed seeing the manatees and tarpon in the canals. Super easy to recommend this property to our friends and family.

great location, modern, and very spacious. We loved the fact that the house had a private pool, large screened in area which we spent a lot of evenings hanging out, after site seeing or fishing, with a large dock we rented a boat.

We’ve been renting in the keys for many years but this house was by far our best rental. Jay & Kristen went out of their way to guarantee we had the best week. Their communication was above & beyond. We would highly recommend this house.

A great vacay experience from start to finish. Jay was informative, helpful and responsive from beginning to end! Finding such a wonderful location that could accommodate our four families so comfortably left us with memories for a lifetime. The pool was perfect for all our ages 6-68, but the canal fishing was an unexpected highlight. Manatees swam right to our seawall along with many zebra fish. Also, plenty of fish were caught and cooked. Our rented boat provided easy access to nearby snorkeling. We’ll definitely keep Jay on our speed dial for future vacay opportunities.

This location was perfect for our vacation. Beaches, shopping and restaurants. The house had everything you could need. Large enough that even with the 16 people staying there it was comfortable and relaxing. Room around the pool was fabulous. Plenty of eating area inside or on the screened porch. Modern and very clean. Highly recommended.

We had 15 family members stay in this home for a week and we were never on top of each other! There is plenty of room inside for everyone and the outside space is awesome too. We really enjoyed watching the kids swim in the pool while we enjoyed the breeze sitting under the cabana. The kids also had a great time fishing of the dock and watching the dolphins, tarpon, barracuda and manatees from the dock. We really hope to come back to this house again sometime soon. Thank You!

This place is amazing. The property is in a great location just minutes from the beach and grocery stores. The home was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the owners were great to communicate with. The pool and screened in patio was the best along with the spacious kitchen for our family of 13. I have no complaints at all. We had a blast!!

This was a family vacation for 11 people. The house was very clean and had the amenities listed in the description. The Host was great at communicating with us prior, during, and after our visit. There is ample parking space in the driveway. We rented a boat that was docked at the house. It was super easy to navigate to the ocean. Each time we stood at the dock we would see various species of fish, nurse sharks, birds, lizards, and insects. Sombrero Beach was a short drive away. We spent most of our evenings in the pool or poolside. Grocery stores and convenient stores were close by, as well as restaurants and attractions. Plenty of room for everyone as a group but it also allowed space for those who wanted it. Our family looks forward to visiting again soon! We loved this spacious home close to grocery shopping and attractions in Marathon! We had 6 adults and 8 teens in the home and never felt crowded even when multiple people were working in the kitchen to prepare meals! We greatly enjoyed the outdoor areas of the property especially the heated pool and the screened in patio where we could eat and play games! We had great success renting a boat from Yacht Haven which was also located along Sombrero Blvd. and there was plenty of dock footage to park the boat that we rented! We loved that there were so many bedrooms and bathrooms which allowed for privacy amongst the 3 families that were staying at the property. The owner was helpful and responsive and seemed genuinely concerned that we were happy and satisfied with our stay and trip in general! We definitely plan to use this property again when we come back to the Keys with our group of friends!

This house was perfect!! We had 4 couples with 8 children between us ages 6mos to 8 years old and we all had plenty of space and privacy as well as common areas! The pool is heated and oh so wonderful! The hot tub is also a nice retreat! We rented a 26 foot power boat for fishing and the dock was great for that. Easy to navigate around the channel and fish off the dock too. Even had a surprise visit from a manatee!! Much needed and very well enjoyed vacation! Jay is very attentive and has lots of great tips for local attractions too!!

We had 3 generations stay here for a week and had a wonderful time. There was just enough bedrooms for everyone to have privacy and plenty of bathrooms also. Being on the canal was nice and the heated pool was a big hit with everyone. When I come back to Marathon I will stay here again

The house, property, location AMAZING!!! Everything was great, not one complaint 13 adults stayed here, everyone approved!!! Definitely 5 stars; beds were comfortable, everything was clean, had everything we needed, hosts were very attentive, we definitely will be back, thanks so much!

This house was huge and fit our family perfectly. The owners were very helpful when we needed anything and were very responsive. We come to the keys to go fishing and the owner texted and let us know he would talk to us about fishing because he also fishes down there. I would definitely rent again!

Very happy with the house. Clean spacious and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were both at perfect temperature for us . There was 15 people in our group and we never felt crowded.

We go to Marathon several times a year and have stayed in several VRBO's. We booked this place because of the dock space at the time as we come with a minimum of 2 boats. After arriving the pictures really don't do the place justice. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The house is laid out great for a large group and is in great shape. If you are there for the fishing or the lobstering the location is great. Only a 10 minute Idle to open water if your headed to the Atlantic side. lf the water is rough you can stay sheltered and Idle over closer to the 7 mile bridge in a few more minutes. Bottom Line love this house and will be booking again.

Just got home from a weeks stay. Really enjoyed our visit. We were a group of 10 adults and had more than enough space. Perfect setting, lovely hosts, a great time was had by all. Fishing off the dock, swimming, relaxing, close to grocery stores, etc! Would definitely stay there again!

Thank you so much!! We come to Marathon every year with siblings and this year we brought our mother, children and grandchildren . The house was a perfect size for our group of 14. It was beautifully decorated and well kept. My grandchildren spent almost every day in the pool. Fishing was awesome. We complety filled the freezer with fish. The wide canal made docking the boat a breeze. We also caught some mangrove and large tarpon off dock. Tiki hut was awesome for hanging out after a day on water. Many dinners were had on the screened lanai. Debbie , the property manager was awesome as well. I would not only reccomend this property but I do plan on renting again in future. Ray Shaipro

We had a wonderful time at "Sombrero Sunset House". The house is very large and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The back yard, pool and porch were perfect for hanging out and relaxing. The owner and property manager were very easy to work with! Thank you, Jay, for an awsome vacation!

Fantastic stay in Marathon
Our family of 16 had a wonderful Keys adventure at this property. Everything was clean and spacious. Sleeping arrangements were ideal and everyone had their personal space. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for family dinners. The pool was well maintained and very much enjoyed. On our one rainy afternoon there was a constant back-and-forth between hot tub and pool. Boat dockage was perfect for our 2 boats and a fish cleaning station was adjacent. We enjoyed the Tiki hut as well. The neighborhood is excellent and safe, and very enjoyable for walking (just remember your bug spray). The owners were very prompt and eager to see that we were well-served. We would stay here again, no question.

Family Fun In The Sun
We recently rented the Arnesen home in Marathon for our annual family vacation and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor area was absolutely our favorite part. From the swimming pool to the covered patio area and tiki hut we spent most of our time out there. The owner and property manager were both amazing to work with. Any issues we had (big or small) were addressed immediately. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate all 12 of us with room to spare. Thank you sharing your lovely home with us.

The owner was kind enough to give us some tips on Mahi fishing in the keys, which were spot on. We saw wildlife on the property - iguanas on the deck, beautiful birds, fish, and had a visit from a manatee one afternoon who was curious when we were flushing the boat engine.
Beds were comfortable with plenty of space for games and tv in the evening. Owner was quick to respond to a few minor requests and we had a wonderful week with perfect weather. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect Location + Great Layout for Large Group
This is a wonderful property. The owner Jay was very responsive to our few requests and communication before we arrived was great. There was a group of 12 of us - 7 adults and 5 kids - and everyone enjoyed the house. There is enough room to stretch out and the screened in porch is amazing. The pool was the perfect temperature and we enjoyed fishing in the canal. The location is great and provides easy access to all the area attractions. We enjoyed morning walks around the circle, which is a little over 1.5 miles, and half way around there is a restaurant/bar at the marina. Get the pizza rolls! Overall we loved everything about this house and location and would book again in a heartbeat!

The house we stayed at was a great house for large group. It was well decorated, and fully furnished, particularly the screened porch and the area around the pool.
The pool was heated and very comfortable. We all loved the hot tub as well. Ample parking in front of the house for all of our vehicles and room for trailers too if needed. This was rerallly a great house to stay at.
