Great space and lighting and view for a long weekend gaming session with my buddies!

Clean property. Liked open concept layout, although not ideal for someone with mobility issues since stairs are required on all levels. Listing boasts Lake Michigan views but mature trees and homes block most of the lake view. Since the weather was cool and rainy it would have been nice if we could have used the fireplace. Some rugs slip when walking on them, especially in the kitchen. Would have been nice to have a cookie sheet available. A sock was found in one of the beds. Livingroom furniture was a little uncomfortable but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Property was exactly as described online and photos were accurate. Overall great stay and enjoyed easy access to beach as well as nearby towns. We utilized the concierge service to have a “chef experience” to celebrate a birthday. Excellent experience. Food was great with perfect presentation. Chefs were friendly and ensured we had a good time. No issues during stay however there was some water in the garage utility room. This was not impacting us in any way however wanted the management team to be aware. Response was immediate and addressed by service team within 30 minutes. Would stay again.

Overall the Lookout met our needs; it had the number of beds, bath and location. For the amount of money asked per night I would have thought the place would have been spotless however, for example, when the blinds where lifted in the master bedroom a cloud of dust came off the blinds, some of the pots and pans were not cleaned well and when adjusting the throw rugs dirt and hair was underneath. The place just needs a better deep cleaning between guests!

What a wonderful stay we had at The Lookout! House was very clean upon arrival, well stocked with amenitites. Perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 young children! Walk to the private beach access was closer than we thought! Beautiful beach area. This was our first time in Grand Haven and we couldn't have asked for a better time! House provided a wonderful variety of beach toys for the kids, beach chairs and wagon to transport! Short 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Haven and Spring Lake for our "boat day"! Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the early mornings and evening for beautiful views of the lake area! Management has been very quick with response to questions, etc! Highly recommend Upscale Lakeshore/The Lookout for a family vacation!

Wow! What a fantastic experience! Immaculate home, gorgeous view, so close to the beach and house provided everything! There were clean towels, Beach towels even MAKE-UP towels. Anything I needed they already had, I can’t say enough great things about this vacation rental.

We had 4 guys on a golf trip and the house worked out great—even with two rooms with bunk beds. Great layout and setup and easily accessible from town. Communication with Property Manager was really good, fast and complete replies that met our needs.
One downside that was bad timing that the dishwasher was broken so we had to hand wash daily, but they left plastic utensils to help there.
Only other feedback would be that we had 4 guests and the house could sleep at least 10-12 guests—but we only had 6 bath towels that we could find. Not ideal and easily fixed.
Would recommend in the future for others, and would happily stay there again!

Everything about the property was great! The house was spotless upon arrival. They mention that the beach is a 10 minute walk but it's just across the street so that was a pleasant surprise. It's very easy to walk to hiking trails nearby.
If you have trouble with stairs this place is not for you as there are lots of stairs! I'd probably prefer 3 beds and just 1 room with bunk beds (there are 2 rooms with queen beds and 2 rooms with bunk beds) but that was by no means a deal breaker and the beds were very comfortable.

Spent the 2022 holiday blizzard snowed in at the house and couldn't have asked for a better place to be! The property management was amazing. Little touches around the house were taken care of. And to top it off the driveway was shoveled! Would totally go back!!!

Everything was excellent, the only thing I would like to see different and without charge would be an earlier check-in and a later check-out. I feel 4pm check-in is too late and 10am checkout is too early. They have provisions to request early and late but at a cost; I feel a 2pm in and noon out would be more appropriate and without a charge.

The home was in a fantastic location and was breathtakingly beautiful! We loved the decor, the fully stocked kitchen, and the spacious rooms. The hosts were very accommodating for our dogs which we greatly appreciated. It was the perfect home for a relaxing family getaway. We hope to visit again!

Great place
Overall great experience! Went with family 6 month old, 2 yo, 3 yo. Everyone loved it. The private beach access is great. Easy drive to downtown Grand Haven. House was clean, had everything.
