Stayed in “Cozy” and it was a perfect location with all the amenities needed for a wonderful beach vacation! Very clean and only a few minutes walk to the beach and to siesta key village. Came with beach chairs, cooler and buggy. Only recommendation would be to include a beach umbrella. Lisa was awesome at communicating and accommodating our flight schedule! Will definitely be a repeat customer! 😊

Very close (1/2 block) to the beach AND the bar/restaurant/market scene. The beds were super comfy. Beach equipment plentiful — like new chairs and beach towels. Really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back!

The property was as described and we totally enjoyed our stay. Clean, cozy and had everything we needed for our week in Siesta Key. Lisa was a pleasure to work with and had great communication. We were just around the block from the beach and a couple of blocks from the village. Would highly recommend staying here for everyone!!!!

Our host was excellent and was so easy to communicate with. She noticed a broken chair and noticed an umbrella that were not in the best shape and immediately replaced the items.

We absolutely had an amazing vacation staying here. They had everything we needed to spend time at the beach! It was a short walk to the beach and a short walk to Siesta Key Village. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come back to Siesta Key.

Everything about this property was awesome! It was clean and well stocked with supplies. The beds were incredibly comfortable! The walk to the beach was very short and we had the best week ever here in our Cozy Cottage by the beach.

This beach cottage was the perfect fit for our family of 4 when we visited Siesta Key. The location to the beach and to the restaurants and shops in the village was great! It was so easy to walk everywhere and we never used our car once. Communication with the renter was easy and she quickly answered any questions we had during our stay.

Cozy stay, very convenient to the beach and village

We were in for a wedding. We rented all 3 units of this building & one on the other side of the construction. The room came with ample supply of towels, beach chairs, & umbrellas.

We had everything we needed! Close to beach, keurig, washer and dryer, beach supplies and near the village. We would definitely return here. The construction wasn’t an issue either.

It was a lovely place and very convenient access to the beach.

Such a great little cottage in the perfect location! We were steps from the beautiful beach and also a short walk to so many wonderful restaurants (The Cottage, The Star Thai & Sushi and MVP were a few of our favorites). The Siesta Key Village area is fantastic and the sunsets on the beach are just dreamy. Definitely looking forward to a return visit soon! Thank you, Lisa.

The location was great, I don't think we used our cars once. The host was very very nice and replied to us if we needed to contact her almost immediately. Definitely would come back.

The property was spacious for 4 people and clean. If you are looking for suggestions for improvement I would say tear out the broken microwave above the oven and put in a shelf or a rack to hang some utensils. Also replace the window blinds so they are easy to open. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and since the cottage is surrounded by tall buildings I like to open shades to get more light in and it wasn't easy to do with the old shades. Also I would add salt and pepper in the kitchen along with a pair of scissors, another can opener (the one we had was very difficult to use), a bigger frying pan, plastic glasses and a griddle. Since we did things like pancakes, French toast and hamburgers, trying to use a frying pan would have been hard because it was small and you don't get the even heat you need to cook these things. I had to bring my own which is inconvenient when you are flying in. We were very pleased with having the beach towels (very nice ones too), wagon and umbrella for the beach. We also appreciated how quickly you responded when we did need something. Unfortunately it was noisy above us. We could hear the footsteps and furniture moving. The worse was Friday night when we went to bed early because we had to get up at 3:15 and the people above us were stomping around. Maybe more rugs or carpet upstairs for better insulation. Maybe a little table in the bathroom to put stuff on when taking a shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay except for the red tide. LOL

The Cozy Cottage is one of 3 in the building, entry in the back. It is a simple nice cottage, everything is as listed and pictured. We had the pleasure of meeting Lisa - she is a great host and responds very quickly. She left many extra towels and beach chairs, had some cold water in the 'fridge which we appreciated. Cozy is easy walking distance to both the beach and the restaurants/bars of Siesta Village which we loved. There was construction next door & behind which Lisa was upfront about, so we brought our portable sound machine and it was fine. The beach is just beautiful, we rode our bikes on the packed sand. Sadly there was red tide our final 2 days, hope it recedes quickly.

When we arrived at the property they had flowers, beach toys and chairs for the kids laid out, and a high chair and pack and play for our baby! It was very clean and we had a very comfortable stay! This is a great location and if you stay here you don’t need to rent a car, because you can walk absolutely anywhere you need to go. We had a great vacation!

This is our second stay and if it were't perfect for us we would not have returned. Steps from the beach. While old, and having construction noise, who needs much when you go for sun and the beach! All amenities included. Walking distance to the beach about 500 feet, into the village about 2 blocks! Coming back next year!

General condition ok. Microwave broken but had backup. Accuracy of checklist, 6 chairs instead of 5 listed, only 4 beach towels but list said 6. The back of the bathroom door when closed is very unsightly. Overall though would stay again.

The cottage was well appointed with plenty of linens, blankets, toiletries, beach towels, and kitchen ware. The 2 king beds had the most comfortable mattresses ever! When we arrived, there were fresh flowers on the counter which was a nice touch. The location is one of its best features ( even though there is condo construction surrounding the bungalow.) The cottage was built in 1945 so there are some quirky elements. For example the electrical outlets were a little wiggly, and The wall light switches didn’t turn anything on. I had to stand on the bed and pull the ceiling fan string to turn on the lights in both bedrooms. Deal breaker? Not at all - part of the charm of an older building. Parking was fantastic and our little patio was great. We were walking distance to everything - especially the beach! We really enjoyed our stay and Lisa’s Hospitality!

Excellent proximity to Beach Access #3 where there is no public parking is a HUGE plus here. We also felt very safe in this neighborhood. The construction work was not intrusive in any way. Since we flew in, it was wonderful to have beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a wagon to carry it all in provided. The TV is very nice, and so is the shower. If you intend to do any cooking, know that you'll need to pick up cooking oil and flavorings beyond salt and pepper, plus all condiments. (COVID thing?) We also had issues with lighting not working properly, yet those are probably easily addressed. Floors are hard: bring cushy slippers. Note that this 4 rating is really more a 4.6. Parking was as promised. We got everything we were hungry for - including stone crab! - at restaurants within walking distance. That was really lovely. Also, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is an easy drive – recommend.
