Die Appartements der Villa Cristina sind ein Traum in Bezug auf Lage und Ausstattung. Wir bewohnten die Villa 15A. Das Frühstück wurde wechselreich und üppig (Aufschnitt, Käse, Obst Yoghurt, Kuchen, frisch gebrühtem Kaffee und mindestens drei Sorten Brot) zum gewünschten Zeitpunkt auf die Terrasse geliefert.
Zum Appartement gehören eine Sonnen- und eine beschattete Terrasse mit bequemen Liegen und Sitzmöbeln. Beide Terrassen haben einen uneingeschränkten Blick auf Strand und Meer. Die Villa verfügt über ein geräumiges Wohn-Esszimmer mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, einem separaten SZ mit einem zwei Meter breitem, sehr bequemen Bett. Das Badezimmer mit großer Dusche und zwei getrennten Waschbecken gleicht einem Badetempel. Ein Safe für Wertsachen ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Das W-Lan im Haus ist sehr gut.
Über sehr hilfreiche und informative Auskünfte waren jederzeit kostenfrei über WhatsApp die beiden Damen Michela und Leo erreichbar.
Weiterhin sehr empfehlenswert ist der absolut verlässliche Taxifahrer Emidio, der uns zu allen Tageszeiten zur Verfügung stand. Emidio kennt alles und jeden in Sal Rei und spricht ausreichendes Englisch.
Während eines Boa Vista Besuchs sollte mindestens eine, der von BAOBAB angebotenen Inseltouren gemacht werden. Franka nimmt Ihre Wünsche entgegen und ist eine endlose Informationsquelle in Bezug auf Vergangenheit und Gegenwart von Boa Vista, etc. Franka spricht u.a. fließend deutsch.
Bis auf die "Beach-Bar Perola", die sich fußläufig ca 8 Minuten nördlich am Strand von der Villa Cristina befindet, sind mir keine weiteren Restaurationen in der Nähe bekannt. Die Stadt Sal Rei, mit einiger empfehlenswerter Gastronomie ist nur mit dem Taxi erreichbar, wobei uns, wie schon oben erwähnt, Emidio sicher zu jedem von uns gewünschten Ziel gebracht hat.

The property is near the airport, the first impression of the road to reach the destination is trough some unfinished building construction, most probably remained like this after the pandemic situation.
Although once you reach the spot is very nice and tranquil, with a beautiful beach view and sunset.
The room is spacious, with a tiny kitchen and lovely decorations.
Breakfast was brought daily at the specified time on the personal terrace that is nice, but you cannot chose what to eat and most of the time is kind of the same.
The place would need some little improvements here and there, daily I had to ask for something (beach towels, mosquito repellant, toilet paper, blanket etc.) that was missed maybe, but everything sorted out well every time.
The owner/staff, Michela and Cristina go above and beyond to exceed the customers expectations.
Nearby on the beach is a restaurant/bar with various food and sun beds where you can enjoy and, because the center is quite far, reachable by taxi or hired car.
We enjoyed our stay for 2 weeks, a perfect place for those who want to be far from crowded places, the perfect spot where you can put your thoughts in order and just relax.

Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen, direkt am Strand mit Blick auf den wunderschönen Ozean. Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man braucht. Jeden Morgen ein großes Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse.

Voor alles een taxi nodig. Boodschapje, uiteten etc. Maar dat wisten we van te voren.

Simply beautiful, couldn’t get enough of the view. Lovely staff and management. Especially Christina, providing us with any request made, going the extra mile to arrange a special breakfast with champagne and a cake as it was my partners birthday. Absolutely loved every bit. Do not hesitate to book.
Nothing bad to say about the property. Just insect repellent is needed as loads of bites from mosquitoes :(

Beautiful apartment with a beautiful little terrace that provides direct views to the sea and the beach. The breakfast was nice, individually brought to each apartment. The breakfast is particularly nice for omnivores. It was very nice that they provided soy milk. But I think the breakfast could offer a little more for vegans. However, the service was great, the compound is quiet and beautiful, including the beach. Very nice place to relax.

The location could not be more perfect - you step off the terrace into fine sand in a nearly empty beach and you are 80 steps (I counted) to the waves. it’s extraordinary. the decor is beautiful and the hosts are great - always available and helpful with their recommendations.

Huge apartment with an incredible view, very very close to the beach, nice breakfast and well equipped kitchen, lot’s of space to enjoy holidays. Michela helped whenever help was needed. A really great place to stay!

Great location and carefully selected details at the accommodation. Breakfast included was reach and different every morning.
It is ideal for what you need: comforting bed, shower, wi-fi to keep connected with your family. But the best of it is the perfect view of the ocean, either from your bed or from the veranda.
What I didn’t like was that we stayed only four nights…

Amazing B&B, by the sand, incredible views of the Ocean, very good breakfast delivered each morning. Michela and Cristina are very helpfull and available for any help you need to book a restaurant, a taxi,etc... We will be back ! You will need taxi or a car to go to the restaurant as only one is at 10min by foot from the bungalow. But very easy to get a taxi. Note that the Ocean is not adapted to very small children as waves are big :)

The villas are in a quiet, secluded part of the Praia de Chaves with beachfront access and beautiful, unspoilt sand dunes just a short walk away. There is a nice beach cafe nearby and it is a ten-minute taxi ride into town. The free transfer to and from the airport was very convenient. Michaela was a brilliant host and always on hand to help with anything or organise trips. In fact all the staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Rooms are cleaned every day and the gardens, full of beautiful desert plants and colourful flowers, are well-maintained. We opted for breakfast which was well worth it because it was delivered at a time of our choosing each morning and there was a good variety of food, including fresh fruit and even pancakes one day. I would definitely recommend staying here rather than one of the big resorts because it is more private and laid-back and you are supporting a local business rather than a big, corporate chain. We will miss falling asleep/waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunsets, but we hope to come back again.
The location is perfect if you want a quiet, secluded stay on the beach, but not if you want to be in walking-distance of town and other amenities.

Villa Cristina is a truly amazing place to stay! Michela the manager has been super helpful and efficient and is a really lovely person. All the pre-trip correspondence was prompt and informative, upon arrival she gave a really insightful meet and greet, helped with arranging trips and excursions, recommended great places to go, restaurants to eat at and fabulous people to connect with. The villas are by Chaves beach which is stunning, hardly any people on it, early morning beach walks and hikes up the sand dunes are a must! Perola d'Chaves Beach Bar is a short walk up the beach and is a super spot during for both day and night with great food. The accommodation is really well equipped with all the bits you need if you want to cook or chill at home and the WiFi connection is great. Sal Rei is a short taxi ride away and the airport even closer but there are hardly any planes so they do not disturb the peace and tranquility at Villa Cristina! This place is an absolute gem.... highly recommended!

The Villa we stayed in was front beach row and is just stunning! Paradise at the doorstep! Michela is also amazing and accomodates all wishes, very welcoming and always ready to give you the best tips and recommendations. Amazing! 💕

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Christina in Praia de Chaves. We had a beautiful appartement which was cleaned everyday by the lovely staff, we loved the breakfast with good coffee and little variation everyday and the best thing was the quiet and beautiful beach and the seaview from our bed. Our host Michela was friendly and helpful, you can book tours and get recommendations for restaurants or events.
It is located around 6km (beautiful) beach walk or 10minute drive from the center of Boa Vista and there are no shops or markets around - but it didn‘t really bothered us, we booked this accomodation because it isn‘t central and we wanted to calm down, so not really something negative for us, but might be for someone else.

It’s hard to do this place justice in a review, as it’s difficult to explain just how awesome the location is. The beach is incredible and at the time we went was mostly totally empty. Amazing view to wake up to and a surreal experience to have such a beautiful beach mostly to ourselves. The interior is also super cozy and the unit had everything we needed. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and attentive and Michela was always helpful and responsive in helping to arrange everything from tours around the island to a birthday cake and surprise on short notice. Thanks a lot, we will definitely be back!

a lovely place, the feet in the sand and in the sea. the beach is amazing. exceptionaly quiet. Cristina is a lovely person taking care of her customers.
the beach restaurant close to the bungalows is also managed by Cristina. a wonderful place to taste an excellent cooking. the staff is very welcoming and always smiling.
