The King's room was absolute best decision. I will stay here again when I return. The restaurant cooked grateful as well on the top floor is very convenient because the cross the street is a grocery store and local shops to buy water and things you need for an extended stay. Lumley market is in walking distance from the hotel.
They had different amenities in other rooms of lesser quality from what I hear from my friend. I think all the other rooms should be updated.

Booked at 12h. Arrived at 22h just to be told that they didn't have a room for me. Next thing I know, Booking is emailing and texting me because the Hotel told I didn't show up. Lack of professionalism.

The staff were quick to respond to questions and assisted with recommendations while at their lodge
The window would not properly close allowing many mosquitoes In the room, as well As the air conditioner leaking when addressed with the staff the issue was not handled in a timely manner, and upon fixing the air conditioner the worker used the toilet brush to clean the filter which is unsanitary.

Decently priced
Has a supermarket across the street excepting credit cards
Food on the roof is decent
Cash only which made it difficult as ATM in the city mostly didn't accept foreign cards I wasn't told they accepted PayPal until I returned from spending half a day trawling ATM in the rain.
They advertise in USD then have a standard rate of exchange which will rip you off
Was about 10% more when I was there.

Staff were very attentive and informative. A group of really nice young people starting from the young woman at the desk, staff serving free great breakfast, housekeeping and security. Great affordable housing in the centre.

The property is clean and located in a strategic location
The main entrance and exit faces the Main Street and with no fence, it becomes too opened

Easily accessible and clean. The bed is comfortable. I’m happy I got back the deluxe double room with the suede beds because it is the best room :).
The fact that the staffs don’t communicate with each other about their guests is concerning. I had to explain myself more than three times (different dates) at the restaurant whenever we’re there to have breakfast which is included in the price. So to the owner: teach your staffs how to be more friendly with guests in the morning!

Almost everything was absolutely fine to be honest… it was affordable and a reasonable hotel - not so central but that’s quite nice actually I thought - you can easily get a keke into the more central parts of Freetown too if needed
So everything was good I’d say. Except ONE thing which really tainted my whole experience at this hotel. I did some laundry and specifically said to the staff before handing it over “all of my clothes will return right? I can’t lose any of my clothes. There is some kind of insurance right?” and I was assured that they would all be safe and I can trust the man washing my clothes… Then I was missing my favourite t-shirt when he brought my clothes back…. I explained to them many times how upset and frustrated I was about this, but they simply said it was lost and there was nothing they could do. Genuinely everything else about my stay was perfect… the included breakfast, the room, the affordable cost and everything… but this one thing left be very annoyed

Some of the staff members were friendly and was trying to make make stay comfortable.
There was some serious renovations going on at the property. Providing information prior to booking about the disruptions would have been ideal. The property is in the front of a busy road and the noise coming to the rooms was very deafening at times. Just uncomfortable.

If you're rich, don't go there. If your budget is low, the place is very good.
No fridge in the room...

The odor of the Water closet permeates throughout the room because the bathroom has no door. It is unbearable!

Really comfortable budget option in Freetown. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food on site. Good location for getting around the city.
Not on the beach but not too far away. Located on a main junction so make sure you have a quiet room.

The TV stand is there, but the TV is not. Breakfast is the same every morning. Laundered clothes are delayed in being returned and they are not completely dry.
