Sea Salt Cottage is the perfect place for a family, or friends gathering. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out and well supplied. Adrienne even went the extra mile and decorated for our stay over Christmas. We really enjoyed our time unwinding there after a long road trip. It had every thing we needed for a memorable stay!!

This Thanksgiving our family stayed at Sea Salt Cottage for the third time — each time for a week or more.
My favorite things about our home-away-from-home:
-the decor immediately gives me a sense of calm with its whitewashed finishes and maritime blue details
-the expansiveness of the million-dollar view makes my soul sing
-the kitchen is filled with everything I need to make good food
-when little ones stop by, the cabinet full of toys and the basket brimming with Duplo create joyful chaos
-the outside amenities — stairs to the beach, hammock, swing, picnic table, BBQ, firepit—are appreciated by all
I look forward to heading back next year for a wonderful getaway and family gathering.

My family and I stayed at Sea Salt Cottage in July 2023. There were 7 of us, ranging from 17-49. We all absolutely loved this property. It was spacious, open and beautiful. The views were stunning, the beach below was full of wonder at low tide, and the house was so comfortable. My children, 17-24, loved hanging out at the house and want to return again soon. I couldn't have asked for a better place for our family vacation. Communication with the owner was great and she had the house stocked with every item you could possibly need. This location is truly a gem!

We’ve been coming to Hansville for 16 years and this is one of the best houses we’ve stayed at. It’s beautiful, comfortable and has an outstanding view. We cook at the house, and this kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back next year!

Returned after staying last year. Same great property, setting and HOST! Enjoyed a week of perfect weather and amazing sunsets looking over Hood Canal and the Olympics. House again, was well kept, clean and just the right amenities. Easily could be a three-peat for us again.

Thank you to our host, Adrienne! Your house was absolutely beautiful. We spent two nights at the cottage. My cousin and took our moms for a pre-birthday get-away. They were celebrating their 81st birthdays! It was comfortable, calming and a perfect spot to view the peaceful scenery and spend time together. Would definitely come back in the future!

We stay in Hansville every summer and this house was amazing. The space is thoughtfully laid out and the kitchen was so well stocked! There were even little welcome treats for the whole family when we arrived, a nice little touch. The view from this house is nothing short of breathtaking, sunsets are spectacular, and we were fortunate enough to be out there during the meteor showers and were not disappointed. It is a long haul down steps to the beach, so wouldn't be great for anyone with mobility issues, but there are other more accessible beaches in the area if you needed to drive to one. Great spot for our family! We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here for our 50th. This cottage has amazing views, quiet and peaceful. Well stocked and it’s decorated so cute. We should have stayed a whole week. So much to see and do! They thought of everything. Will definitely come back!!

We enjoyed our mid-winter stay very much. Everything was very nice, exactly as pictured. The kitchen had plenty of equipment, and everything was very clean. The hosts left out several nice complimentary items.
The stairs down the cliff face to the beach are not for the faint of heart, but our teens enjoyed exploring. Not recommended for young kids due to the cliff face and long run of stairs to the beach.

We loved our stay! The whole house was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was thoughtfully organized and stocked for any baking and cooking activities. We enjoyed the split floor plan, open kitchen and the large space for relaxing, and playing games. The beach trail is a little steep but it was fun to get out and enjoy the beach. When the weather got a little stormy we had the best view to watch it from. Fantastic host who decorated for the holiday and communicated very well! Would stay again!

This rental was one of the best I've ever experienced. The view is stunning! Full view of the Olympics and the Hood Canal. We enjoyed watching seals and birds, as well as descending to the private beach for some nature time. The house itself is just lovely -- clean, beautifully decorated with everything you'd need for an easy stay. The kitchen contains high quality appliances and dishes, and is well organized. The house was warm and the beds and bedding very comfortable. We truly appreciated the opportunity to connect with family in this setting. My only cautionary comment is that it is easy to miss the turn into the driveway. It took a few drive-bys on dark nights to see the mailbox number. Thank you Box family!

Adrienne was the most wonderful host, extremely accommodating and friendly. I had my heart set on staying here the weekend of my wedding in Port Gamble. Adrienne went above and beyond to help us coordinate this. The house exceeded my expectations it absolutely beautiful and amazing. So much space and we loved the big table for games, big kitchen with a pancake griddle, and cozy fireplace outside facing out to the 180 degree views of the hood canal. In the morning we all sat outside and sipped coffee overlooking the water, it was so wonderful. It could not have been more perfect! Every detail was so wonderful with all the decor, we felt so welcome and did not want to leave! 150% would recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights and would love to visit again. The kitchen is amazing with everything you need. We used the grill and ate outside and loved the sunsets. Visited no point point and got ice cream. Also got to walk down to the stairs to comb the beach. Tons of shells and Sand dollars.

An amazing view with access to the private beach makes this property one to cherish! Owner was extremely attentive and made sure she was easy to reach at any time. Everything was in order and neat, only the pictures on the posting in NO way do the place justice (how could it?). We had an absolutely amazing time! Adrienne is an incredible host who pays attention to the little details and personalization. Our kids loved the swing and roasting marshmallows every night. They learned how to dig for clams and loved exploring the beach. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Really special weekend getaway
This place was beautiful- the pictures don't do it justice. The house was immaculate and the hosts provided everything you could possible need, from coffee to wood for a fire. The view is absolutely incredible and the beach is really fun to explore. From the yard we watched ospreys come back to their nests with fish, a couple of bald eagles and numerous great blue herons. We will be back!
