Centrally located in Tempe; rooftop terrace; friendly staff
The hotel is directly next to the rails of a train and a street car. Both were very noisy, I woke up several times every night. The street cars rang their bells all the time, and the trains are very loud, and there is also a major street in front of the hotel. If you are sensitive to nice, I would not recommend this hotel.

the person from corporate there to work with management change checked me in at front desk. he was not hospitable, lacked knowledge and was unwelcoming. terrible first impression

The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.
The room wasn't as clean as it could have been; the floors looked like maybe they hadn't been mopped since the last guest.

Excellent check in experience, great agent at the counter.
Hot water could have been hotter, but that’s barely a complaint, this was an excellent stay.

Location was great.
Got double charged on my card for the stay. Got it sorted while there, then checked my account when I got home and found I was charged again. Talked to 3 people to finally get it sorted. Comforter was dirty, floors didn't feel or look very clean. Beds were okay.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly. The location is good.
The shower in the disabled access doesn't have a door (which I understand why) but the drain on the floor isn't large enough to keep the water from going all over the floor. Not a huge deal, though.

it is a new hotel in a gentrifying neighborhood that appears to cater more to a college aged, younger crowd, which is great; trendy/artsy environment inside hotel with great artwork and NO Carpet in rooms.; it also has a bar and restaurant and cafe/lounge area for hanging out.; lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance and a whole food store.; scooter rentals are widely available too; close to great Mountain views a few miles away.
thee is no ‘free’ complimentary breakfast. it is some pastries and breakfast sandwiches they heat up for you in the microwave; the coffee is HORRIBLE, no amount of creamer made it better. The design of the shower in the ‘corner’ room is awkward because the floor drain is in front of where the shower curtain hangs, so water gets all over the bathroom floor. Lastly the bed is comfortable, but the pillows have no weight/cushion to them which felt like laying you held on a scrunched flat sheet; Also, I don’t like the $75 deposit per night charge that takes up to 10 days for a refund

Great shower, quality shampoo and conditioner and body wash (which was a great surprise), very comfortable bed and pillows, very clean and quiet. Still smells new.
Breakfast costing extra was the only bummer.
