I can’t say enough good things about Babel Guesthouse! It is extremely Eco Friendly, the owners and staff are phenomenal and the food is amazing! Babel Guesthouse has a huge Eco Friendly store and refill station called No Planet B Cambodia 🇰🇭 in its lobby. Many locals come to the restaurant just to eat. The menu has a ton of delicious and nutritious items including many vegetarian and vegan options. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. And the pool is magnificent! It was large and kept immaculate! I swam everyday during my stay. There is a huge variety of different tours that the guesthouse can arrange for your convenience. It is very family friendly and an extremely travel conscious and environmentally friendly guesthouse. There are a plethora of reasons why I will definitely come back but number one is the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff. They treated my wife, daughter and myself like we were family! Babel Guesthouse is highly recommended!

Lovely hotel with nice clean rooms and a great pool. The staff were super helpful and helped arrange a tuk tuk driver (who was great) for us whilst we were there. The included breakfast was really nice and the location is a short ride to pub street. The eco feeling is nice and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely guesthouse in central Siem Reap. They've got some 20 rooms of different sizes - beds are big, mattresses hard and bathrooms sizeable and well equipped. The restaurant's open all days and has a great choice of breakfast dishes at very fair prices as well as snacks and lunch/dinner fare. Vegetarians get alternative versions of vegetarian dishes. And the team's lovely. The guest house is also home to an eco shop with a variety of Cambodian sustainable products. Last but not least the guesthouse has a team of excellent tuk tuk drivers who will take you wherever you need to go. Because their fares are prenegotiated between drivers and guesthouse, the set prices are conveniently added to your room bill. Oh, and the pool's really nice, too.

There's no safe in the room (dunno if there's a central one), if you wanted to store valuables. Noises from neighboring houses can be quite loud at times, but quiet down at night.

Location is good and space at the front nice. The efforts of the owners to work with the local community and provide a strong eco approach are very welcomed and should be adopted by more properties

This is a hostel type property which we hadn't realised prior to booking, we were expecting simple but not as it was. The room we had may have been older than some pictured which might have caused the difference, I did ask to check this and speak with the owners but this never happened.pool area seemed very dated and needs a clean up, repair of chairs etc but I appreciate this is the case with a lot of properties after covid. They allow local entry to pool if buying food and it's not really big enough for this not to be noticeable.

The staff is very nice and the hotel is comfortable. Drinking water is available all day long so it is very handy and green. The food in the restaurant was very good.

We experienced small issues with the bathroom but the staff did their best to help and it did not impact our stay. A small refresh could be nice in the bathroom.

I liked the pool. The room was clean.

The stairs are steep for older people. There is no coffee or cups, kettle etc in the rooms. If you want a cup of coffee you have to buy it at the restaurant.

The food was excellent and the staff were super helpful. They were able to arrange Tuk tuks, minivan tickets and tickets for shows.

Upper level rooms were a little warm.

Our driver sojet was perfect! Drove us everywhere and gave perfect tips what to do. Always had drinks for us and waited patiently while we explored ankor wat. From the pick up at the airport until the last trip to the fishing village everything was perfect and with the loveliest smile on top :) The guesthouse has a very nice vibe, lovely staff and dangerous good food (breakfast all day) The owners take care of their ecological impact and even have a little eco shop in the entrance where you csn buy zerowaste products and refill your travel needs (repellent, soap, deo, etc) Vegan food available and for me the first vegan capucchino after a month if travelling <3

The breakfast in the morning needs a bit time. Can be a bit stressfull if you plan to go on a trip and have to wait a long time.

Great relaxing outside areas, shaded garden, great for kids. Staff were attentive, friendly. Tours, trips, bikes easily arranged. Lots of eco products and refills available. Room was comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Not really Babels fault but quite a few mosquitos so take plenty of repellent and, as there are no mosquito nets, spray for the room.

We stayed for 5 nights and found the staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and well priced. We were particularly impressed with the owners' green credentials and commitment to staff welfare.

Great restaurant and bar area. Drinks and food are top notch. Simple but comfortable room. Can't beat the central location to get out and about Siem Reap. Babel have their own tuk tuk team eager to assist. Very good value.

Pool area could be better maintained. Not nearly as inviting as the front of the property. Our room was a bit noisy at night, but music etc was quieter by midnight.

I underestimated the word family friendly. If you're a family, then this is a huge plus. For me it was a bit much at times.
